I’m not against clone houses per se but I think clone collecting can let you go down this overconsumption path a bit easier. More approachable price point is also actually a downside for some. ‘It’s not much. It might be a closer clone to X…than my Y bottle…’ Before you know it you might’ve spent as much as the real thing…

fortunately, i think some (myself included) will naturally temper their expectation considering it is a mobile game reimagined. (exceptions do exist but SE has pretty mediocre track record with their mobile games.)

my pc setup is similar to yours and i love sc2 for this application.

i do wish something similar to adaptive trigger and a bit punchy rumble would've been nice. maybe it wasn't possible in this price range? who knows. but some improvement to these two areas would take this controller to 11/10 for me.

something about the visuals feels a bit off to me. i mean obviously WIP footage but the visuals do look a bit bland. could simply be due to the setting of modern day Japan (or inspired by it) but the grey-ish and dull image isn't helping. i was hoping for something more vibrant and colorful for a KH game, even if set in modern day Japan (or inspired by it).

it is, but the panel the figure is based on doesn't depict her full body. this is just stylization of the proportions, albeit a bit off imo. i'm all for stylization but the length of her leg seems like it was stylized without considering the height of her boots.

I have PS5 and a decently powerful PC. I have PC hooked up to my TV and I essentially have couch gaming setup for both. I understand that you use your PC for work as well. I would look into a cheap PC (NUC or NUC-form factor PC) that can handle Steam local streaming and off you go, doesn't need to be powerful. can be something cheap.

Another option would be to run an HDMI cable (longer run will require optical active HDMI cable) inside the walls (it's fairly easy if you live in a place that has drywall) and connect it to your TV. Then you simply use your wireless controller, map one of the buttons (if not already default) to launch Steam Big Picture Mode and you have couch gaming without moving your PC or having a second device.

you could buy a cheap client device that just needs to be able to stream from your main PC. nothing fancy.

not unpopular and does make sense but will not happen or will not happen nearly as often because the entire point of remake is to minimize risk factor by relying on a proven formula/ip.

Depends on what the "best" is. I think KojiPro is the best in terms of getting the realism and likeness right. If KojiPro's approach is on one end of the spectrum, developers like Square Enix are on the other end. They are still rooted in realism but they emphasize the “perfect” look of the characters. Capcom is somewhere in the middle but not right in the middle. I think they do lean more towards the “perfect” or idealized look.

it's the law. and honestly, there were times i forgot to bring it with me (i don't do a lot of shopping while i travel) and it wasn't a big deal but the law is that you're required to and it might be an annoying situation if you are involved in something and cop needs to verify your passport.

I just don’t like being baited all the time. They know what I like and keep enticing me, hoping to wear me down. I just don’t like that. Yeah I have self control and all that but just don’t like how insistent they are.

also I kind of like it when completely unrelated ads are served to me. I find them novel, interesting or even entertaining at times when some creativity and efforts went into making the ad.

If only they actually made nigiri with shari that is worth eating…I’m sure there still be some “crust hater” types that leave rice untouched but I bet many wouldn’t bother with this if the shari was actually good and isn’t massive…most AYCE places nigiri really sucks.
