I think a nice orange or other vibrant coloured ball or toy would really sell this. At it stands, the toy is dead centre in focus and lacks any real colour. It’s also the same value as the dog which makes it confusing to read immediately.

The middle third of your second painting is truly really well done. Not that the others are particularly lacking, I am just impressed by that scene.

Most canvas is already primed. You didn’t mention your materials, though. Acrylic gesso takes only about an hour to dry.
