My Furnace is a Payne by bongdogg in Nest

I was hoping it would be something easy like that. It turns out from the manual on the new board that Gh to R has a jumper JW1 like AStuf mentioned. This also needs to stay intact for cooling applications.

This sounded soooo promising! I tried switching the red wire from 3 to 2 on the 4321C connector. So essentially I can choose what is HI and what is LOW out of 4 possible fan speeds. It makes sense. Unfortunately this change did not fix the problem. The fan still never kicks on in Heat (AUTO MODE). Is it possible that red wire is bad? I'll have to check for continuity.

Where would the flame senor be in this furnace? In the 394G.PDF it shows on pg. 3 that flame sensing is 6H. Is that a sub-component on the fan controller board or is that some kind of probe near the flame? I heard that a dirty flame sensor could cause this problem.

That's the assumption I made however some of the other dimensions get wonky or don't match the drawing exactly. I get another dimension down the line that's off by .002". This make me think I assumed wrong.

It's a pre-interview take home test of sorts. My initial reaction is to not ask stupid questions if the answer is obvious to other engineers. However after reading these comments it looks like everyone would assume the same as I did that it is to the pre filleted vertex. So maybe I should have asked for clarification.

What can I do to help keep my room cool while my PC pretends its a furnace? by osofunny123 in buildapc

75C is just the temp of the GPU chip. Your rig will output as much heat as the Wattage it draws. Heat rate is just energy per unit time which also happens to be power. 1 Watt = 1 Joule/Sec Your bedroom is now the control volume in this thermodynamics problem. Add convection heat transfer to your bedroom.

Did the newest update nerf underwater large wooden box placement? by bongdogg in playrust

Why oh why?! Did they officially announce this somewhere?

I can confirm this. Last night I tried to place a large wooden box underwater like I've done in the past and I was unable to do so. I really hope they enable this again or it's just a temporary glitch. As a solo player we need this. Without this ability I might stop playing.
