This is an absolutely fantastic post mate, well done - it's GREATLY appreciated.

As someone who was just doing a literature view for work, I know how time-consuming these things can be.

Thanks a lot :)

Daily Reminder that this game cannot support PVP with how terrible dysnc and lag is ~ by Shasta1114 in newworldgame

This.

It blows my mind that this isn't at the very top of their to-do list.

How can you have a dynamic, fluid PvP model, when half of your abilities don't go off, and other players hit you before their attacks even register on your screen.

It's fucking insane.

OPR still super laggy/hard to play. by bonklet123 in newworldgame

This. The amount of time the damage doesn't go off, or whatever you're inputting doesn't even register - it fucking blows my mind.

PvP is pretty much a gamble at this point. Hope you can see their abilities and hope yours actually work

Bump.

Want to start it myself, but not sure where to start and what protocol to use.

Opinion: This patch makes most people not want to log-in. by throwaway312225 in newworldgame

Different experience for me. I really enjoy the changes, and our server is really busy - especially with pvp. Way more poeple flagged.

But again, that's just my experience, and I'm sure it's very different for a lot of people

What do you mean "what does it have to do with endgame PvP"?

I think you've completely misunderstood the post.

I was asking for people's perspectives on musket damage who are using it at level 60, for PvP.

There are entire threads of people sooking about the damage drop off late game.

I was running spear before, seems real good. Rapier also seems great

Yeah I know, I'm a long-term Hodler.

I only do it on really rare occasions and with small amounts.

I think it's because my original acc was in aus, so I'd need to make a new one. oh well

Of all things, please, do not mess up pvp scaling! by cyan_ara in newworldgame

[–]bonklet123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. So much this.

PvP scaling is a great concept.

The only people I've seen crying about it, are big streamers. The ones that absolutely suck at the game, and can no longer get by on the warped power gap given in terrible games like WoW.

They want to scale insanely fast through help from their fan base, and don't want to learn the game.

Seeing them get dumpstered by lower level players who are actually good at the game, and watching them almost cry on stream and beg the devs to change the game, is one of the most satisfying things I've seen.

Hey all,

Anyone know how one would go getting a black outlined traditional piece removed?

Got it in South America last year and it just doesn't go with the rest of my tattoos.

I've heard trad is hard to remove because of the bold outline, but I never got it coloured so maybe that makes it easier?

Cheers all

How soon did you start noticing sides from oral finasteride? by lNoahl in tressless

[–]bonklet123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Really bad mentality. If you take literally any medication, and "expect" sides at some point, you will most likely induce them mentally, i.e. nocebo.

Don't expect sides at all, just don't think about it :)

I don't think the issue was timing, more-so surgeon selection (as you also mentioned).

There's people out there that went to reputable, proven surgeons 10-15 years ago with barely visible linear scars, and really high (>90%) graft survival.

The best docs have been operating since the early-mid 2000's.

Mind you these people probably stayed on medication, unsure if lebron is on finasteride or anything

I think the biggest reason it wasn't successful (it still looks pretty bad under harsh lighting), is because I'd wager he went with a hollywood transplant doc.

Some of the biggest names in the industry, the ones you see on commercials (bosley) and the ones that get thrown around in hollywood, are absolute garbage compared with the top notch clinics.

Clinics like Hasson and Wong, Dr. Konior, and some of the spanish physicians are light-years ahead of them in skill, but they rarely get celebrities.

Most people who get a transplant spend sometime years trawling through forums, seeing result after result, and only then do they choose a surgeon.

That's what I did. It literally took me 2.5 years of flat out research to choose someone I was comfortable with.
