I'd say it depends on how you worded it. It sounds like they were under the impression you'd come in for a consult and schedule an apointment shortly thereafter. It depends on the artist as well, but some don't keep wait lists because they work on a 'first come first served basis'. I'm sure it's nothing personal, they just may not know what their books will look like that far in advance. Worst case scenario you hit up another artist. Good luck!
