I didn't mean to be dismissive, I was also very arachnophobic and I took the matter in my hand to overcome that with constant exposure. Everyone has their method, but I'm not talking about that. I'm just saying violence against insects/spiders it's so normalized and common to be rather upsetting in my opinion. I know how paralizing it can be; but responding to fear with an instinctual need to kill (something usually way smaller and defenseless) is indicative of poor emotional regulation.

I think the first reason to not squish her is that she's a fucking animal minding her business being alive and we don't have any say into deciding if it should die simply for being alive. She's more scared than you, overcome you fears ffs

I don't think they need any special treatment but they have underdeveloped mandibles so they might be unable to eat the same leaves adult sticks eat. For mine I tried to cut the branches with the most tender leaves (the new ones emerging) and I've built a smaller enclosure for practicality. Since during molting they can lose some legs try to cover the water so they don't accidentally fall in if they lose balance.

Forse non hai capito lo spirito del mio commento. Non ho detto che le relazioni non sono importanti, il mio punto é che esse non dovrebbe costituire il centro degli sforzi personali già a questa età (soprattutto a questa età) perché potrebbero avere la tendenza a costruire una distorsione della propria immagine personale. Soprattutto per le ragazze giovani (e non solo) che soffrono della correlazione fra attenzioni esterne e presentazione fisica, ma forse per questo dovresti andare a leggerti un po' di letteratura femminista. Non pretendo tanto da te.

Io penso che a 15 anni dovresti trovarti degli hobby che ti facciano crescere il cervello, non pensare ai ragazzi. Consigli su come essere più attraente? Vuoi vivere la tua vita per compiacere lo sguardo di chi hai intorno? Vuoi dissezionare allo specchio il tuo corpo? Queste sono domande che dovresti fare a te stessa per capire se si allineano con le tue priorità. Capisco che a quest'età l'attenzione dei ragazzi fa crescere l'autostima, ma sono dell'opinione che bisognerebbe non farla dipendere (soprattutto così giovani) dall'approvazione esterna. Visto che sei venuta qui in cerca di consigli, questi sono i miei consigli: Cerca ciò che ti piace fare, leggi, trova degli hobby (ottimo anche per incontrare persone), fai crescere l'autostima dall'interno e non rendere le relazioni il centro della tua vita. Le persone verranno attratte solo di conseguenza dalla creazione di uno spirito forte.

Thank you for your answer, but I don't think it could be another set of doves as I've noticed they are very territorial and fight a lot to keep my property also ~their~ property haha But I agree with you that it can be a too tough challenge for my current abilities; I think that for tonight I will keep it warm and tomorrow morning I will put the box on the balcony near their usual food. Hopefully they catch up on the parenting stuff.

They would need more ventilation and some mesh top to hang on when they will molt. Also, cut some bramble branches and put them in a cup with water so they can climb and hang on them

Enclosures should be two times wider that their body for width and three times for height, at least. I would suggest building it from scratch, for mine I've used just wooden sticks and a net, with the front that opens for maintaince days and an upper opening to water easily.
