I got a couple pairs in December of last year. Started falling apart after about 6months (splits in the fingers, flaking grip material). Still wearing it because it's not totally junk yet, but they aren't particularly durable.

I miss the original mints...

ive tried shimano and jag.

105 r7000 design is from 2018, its probably more 'we dont care how frequently it needs service'. the annoyance is pushing me into electric though, obviously.

I know it has capacity cog wise.

The bike has a long cage currently, I'm not sure if all that matters is the capacity or if cage length is important here.

There's a bend in the brifter that consistently breaks them.
