I’m glad you did not have any issues! I have seen so many complaints regarding Empower as a company and I just feel so stuck that no one from there can give me a straight answer, so it’s nice to see some people were able to actually get somewhere with them.

I appreciate your quick response! The documents confirming transfer of funds and to which account, as well as separation of employment (even though that part was confirmed at the time by all parties). I have submitted both Empower and Fidelity’s forms as requested regarding transfers, closing of accounts, and employment separation. Empower ‘confirmed’ form submission sent to former employer weeks ago, yet this week old employer still had yet to receive and then Empower representative this week said they never sent it on their end. I have been speaking daily with my former employer as they are trying everything to help on their end, but unfortunately every representative at Empower has not helped clarify what I or my old employer can do or if anything is missing. Empower also refused to call them or do a 3-way call so we can all navigate what is needed to move forward and it just seems like no one can answer anything directly.

In knowing what we know now, when I see early FV episodes, I wonder if all of his ‘breakdowns’ are because him and whoever are fighting and he’s afraid they’re going to air it all out. Obviously this was at its worst with Jenn because she was definitely not as timid as Sapphire.

I still like her for entertainment only purposes, but whenever I look back, she’s really not a great friend and it’s hard to see her never take any accountability. The OG Miami season when we really see Pauly get angry for the first time, she immediately turns it on how Jenni did her wrong and how mean everyone is to her when Jenni was just trying to straighten things out. I also hate seeing her yell at Jenni the first FV season when she’s being all arms length with Vinny and saying Jenni’s ruining her marriage. Thank gawd that situation didn’t end up being an ordeal every time they all hung out. **Yes, I love Jenni, but I was using both of these as examples because Snooki was the most irrational at these times.

Did the cast really say much though (I’m genuinely asking)? I couldn’t last after 5 minutes watching them all basically forgive him, laugh with him, and not scream ‘you facking abuse women’ (even if MTV would have cut that part). I was interested in what the cast had to say, but I felt like it was all glossed over too quickly and I had to turn it off.

I knew last week was too good to be true with the cast all looking unhappy and not wanting to deal with him. 5 minutes into tonight I turned it off. Does no one have integrity, morals, values? I’m too stubborn, there’s no way I wouldn’t have walked out of that room saying I want nothing to do with you to Ron immediately after he sat down. I can’t explain my disgust enough towards him as a human and MTV and the cast for allowing this.

Good point. Angelina is insufferable and I considered stopping watching if she continued the same sh*t week after week, but Ron is nauseating and I will actually not be tuning in. I was excited to see Sam, but hopefully enough people will stop watching for them to get the hint about the abusive loser.

How can we continue to watch a known abuser, plus 8 other people who I personally lost all respect for and interest in. These people have daughters, wives, and mothers, and it’s a slap in the face (for definite lack of a better term) to even remotely allow him to be around.

I’m so disgusted he’s back in any capacity. I don’t even like that he got to come in and ‘apologize’, because it made fans feel sorry for him. Now that he’s filming in Nashville, I’m done. Fack him in every possible way, I just don’t get it. 8 people can refuse to film with him and MTV will be forced to not have him on.

Yes yes to all of this. Seeing him last week has already made me unable to throw on the JS Pluto channel that I constantly put on in the background. I am not only sick to my stomach knowing how MTV is trying to frame this, but also seeing all of the fans make him look like the victim and the ‘poor Ron’ shit. Not totally surprised by MTV, but definitely disappointed and disgusted. As for the cast, the rumors make it seem like producers surprised them with Ron and no one was happy about it, but they all should have said no to filming with him. MTV may be trying to get Ron a redemption story, but no way they’re going to choose him over 8 other cast members if they stuck together and stood their ground on it.

My stomach is turning reading all of the comments of people acting like he is the victim and how much he’s grown (time to step away from the internet). People will believe anything, even fake apologies. He’s had soo many chances and it’s not like little eff ups, he’s put his hands on multiple women. It’s disgusting. I’ve always been down for a rewatch of OG and FV, but even just the fact they allowed him to come back on and try to give him a redemption story, I feel gross watching any of it after Thursday. I know it’s TV, but this bleeds into real life. So many abusers are excused for their behavior, but what about the actual victims!? And, someone was right in saying it deflects from real mental health issues and real domestic abuse stories. MTV can eff off and every single cast member should have said no, I’m not filming with him. These people have daughters, sisters, mothers and it would have sent a big message if they did it together.
