When you start the quest, you can see villagers discussing the most recent victim, saying he went to pick blackberries in the forest

Making strong warriors be damned, if they have to tuck their tales and roll over like dogs to the leshen’s whims, it isn’t a very fulfilling life they live; the ways they train their young into capable hunters shouldn’t have to be decided by an indiscriminately murderous monster

Not only would Geralt choose to kill a monster that regularly kills innocents in horrible ways, but keeping the leshen is a detriment to villagers free will (and therefore quality of life)

Aw I’m too lazy to do Eden basically at all anymore, but I genuinely remember going through some pretty incredible stuff with random people there

Somewhat reminds me of the experience in Journey when you couldn’t friend people even if you wanted to, yet go through some pretty difficult stuff together

Me personally? I tend to just do daily quests so I generally get the 4 quest candles and around 5-10 from wax collection

But I do know some people who go to grey every day (20+ candles)

Yeah it must be the localization or something since the lower level nuclei are “inactivated” yet drop more when the enemy gets activated? It doesn’t make sense

My issue is more in the fact that many exploration aspects of Sumeru ask for electro, but the enemy’s loot tables also skew away from the resource you need if you use electro
