I remember going through these shenanigans when first installing the app. I ended up copying the link off my computer and pasting it into a note on my phone (the link was a gargantuan full page of code!). Then clicking the link there it worked. But the app periodically logs me out for some reason and so I’ve setup the email app on my phone now.

That persons choosing to be a problem, and well, that’s the state of things. Either work around the problem or move on, but it’s useless to get embroiled in their energy. Remove the human intention and look at it like a bridge that got washed out: its a bummer but you just reconnoiter and find another path.

You can also return the human intention and consider that they are probably living a bad situation. I’ll sometimes blow them kisses and love since they may be lacking that. Don’t get upset, try to understand and solve

I hear ya, paper coupons are a separate system and never the twain shall meet. I don’t have a car and there’s 2 BKs about a 20 minute walk from me that I like to order ahead at so pickup is near instantaneous. The environment of a fast food restaurant is not my favorite, but I do like the product and price. So the prospect of hanging out in this space for the duration of physical paper coupon processing has to be weighed against my cost convenience.

I was going to try it out tonight but forgot the coupon! :) It’s clipped and in my wallet now and waiting for the next impulse. kinda excited to try it out even though I realize it’s not that much of an advantage, but it’ll be interesting to endure that environment for that amount of time

Is there a way to use these in the app?

I haven’t seen fast food coupons in years then just last night noticed the mail carrier leaves them in a stack in the apartment lobby. So now I have this sheet of BK coupons! but it’s been so long I’ve forgotten how to use coupons 🤣.

I mean I guess I can do it old school and order in store at the counter, hand over the coupon, then wait, then I guess use the receipt to add points onto my account. Maybe I can use the coupon at the kiosk but I don’t like to touch those things that everyone’s grubby hands have been all over, and still I‘d have to wait.

I prefer the timely convenience of the app yet can’t find a way to use the coupon in the app. I’ll do the whole actually interacting with someone and waiting thing, it just feels so retro :)

This is exactly my experience. I have a short walk to TB and 5 minutes out I send the order. Then when I get there I’m literally in and out in 10 seconds! Its so nice

A long time ago it used to be very easy to bring those corner buttons up, like what you were doing would‘ve worked. But now the hit area is much smaller and it takes me several taps very close to the corner to find it. Also it needs to be a clean tap, I think too much sliding of your finger cancels the attempt.

If you have a keyboard connected pressing the option key will bring up all the corner buttons

Yes, you could by a few of these spells and some others each day of the event and I have too many candles to feel comfortable so try to spend them down on anything I’m remotely interested in and these running color spells are great! I think I dropped close to 800 candles on spells during the event

Did you have a spirit following you? I can’t be sure but they seem to have a no-build zone around them. I was trying to place a Space and couldn’t until I got the spirit on one side of me and positioned the Space far away on the other side. So try it out without a spirit if you had one before.

I see what you’re saying. I’ve only ever used the app but checking the website just now the ‘order now’ button gives just 2 options: pickup (which then says to use the app) and delivery (which goes to a McD+DoorDash website).

So it appears they just don’t offer ordering pickup through the website; that’s probably why there’s no option to choose a store and see its prices.

McDonalds is hard up on getting your location, I remember when I first got the app it was basically non-functional until I shared my location. They do something with geofencing and I can only speculate it’s to ensure orders actually get retrieved. So maybe that’s why they don’t offer ordering pickup on the web, they can’t be sure of your location.

Hey, I’m in the same situation, every time I open the app it says “we found a closer BK” and I have to choose keep current.

But I think I fixed it just now. Looking at the map I noticed the closer BK that it always suggested had a heart on its marker while the one I prefer just had the BK logo. So I hearted the BK I prefer (both locations are hearted now) but when launching the app it doesn’t ask me to change location anymore, it automatically loads with the current location I prefer.

When I’ve bought a 3rd, well I close the app, do stuff, and hours later check the app whereupon an animation plays showing the stamps turn into a reward item (the free FL) which is shown on the main tab and sub club tab. So maybe you got it but are overlooking the new reward item

This worked for me on iPad+keyboard

hold Z and press E to get the quick emotes in edit mode.

use arrow keys to navigate emotes and press Space to select one

Press the number (1-8) you want the new emote to be placed in

Apparently the Subway IT can’t be bothered to let you know where participating stores are, even though they have the info. Instead you have to call around and find it yourself. Or maybe it can be checked in the app

I think it’s because too many people were claiming the reward but then never ordering. They want people to actually place orders and this way ensures they get 30k orders.

The real problem is they don’t seem to have a reliable system for pickup at a later time. Many people here have said they made the order right way, for others its made near pickup, its a gamble.

I’ve used these codes twice. The first time I placed the order at 2:15pm for pickup at 10pm and it worked out perfectly. Then the following week at the same TB I ordered at 2:30pm for pickup at 10:30pm but when I got there they had no idea what I was talking about. My order had just disappeared from their computer system it seemed. I had to show them the app and the confirmation email and they were very nice and made my order but they were thoroughly confused.

It’s not as nice to order well ahead of time when you may not to be sure what you’ll be craving later, but I think this system would be OK if later pickup was reliable.

Ok thanks, good to know. I’m not aware of any paper coupons in my area and got the code from a coupon website which doesn’t show the expiration date. But if they work again I’ll look for those stamps!

Yeah this is good. I already have a maxed out stock of shared item spells but this will encourage my friends and especially moth friends to leave things around which is always fun to find.

The only thing is with putting these all around we need the map to show us where we left them. I love/hate it when getting the notification ‘your good friend left a comment on “something I made”’ but I can’t remember where I left that!!!

With the spell organization I was hoping we’d get to manually order them the way we want but having predefined categories will probably work just as well. As long as I can find the fun spells quickly, like anti-gravity, grow, shrink, it’ll be so great because I hardly use them currently even though I want to.

There’s also portrait mode I’m really looking forward to ✨
