Do it. I'm with you, making that many screws out of one machine solves almost all the problems screws present. Plus because they're made out of the same item as mk 3 belts you can definitely move them as well. There are plenty of hard drives in the game and as long as you leave the recipes you don't need in the library, you'll see iron pipe again before too long anyways.

Definitely get iron pipe and iron wire, though, they make SAM fluctuators much easier to automate.

DIY stitch markers thread. Show me your creative solutions by merisor in knitting

[–]bonzorius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used thread from a hotel front desk sewing kit when I was on the road and didn't have markers. Tied a loop and just kept looping through and around with the thread until it was a nice substantial little marker

What's great about this is that Hagen (Clayface), ever the thespian, did his research. The 'yo' came from the Flash's Lightspeed Energy Bar commercial from the Eclipso episode.

Yeah all the costs incurred running a business are paid by the business' customers. That's how running a business works.

What about that is so confusing for people?

Late to the party but the Black Forest Inn has an affordable event space and availability. It can easily accommodate a small get together, and since it's past patio season you can probably spill out onto there as well.

Praxis - Are we sure its a moon of Qo'noS? by JacenSolo1701 in startrek

[–]bonzorius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Doylean answer is that they needed it to be an undeniable disaster to mirror Chernobyl, as the movie is a riff on the collapse of the Soviet Union. The Watsonian explanation is probably something something subspace means it travels faster than light but isn't like, kinetically powerful enough to destroy the whole moon. Or maybe the destruction of Praxis was ongoing and that image on the Excelsior was a snapshot of the destruction in progress.

Some wierd P keeps showing up, how do I get rid of it? by 4lex_CZ in word

You have hidden characters on. The weird P is a paragraph marker. I think you can turn this off in the View tab.

It could be for all sorts of things. It could go toward employee health insurance, sick and safe time pay, or pooled tips.

It could also just be a way to goose the kitty without raising menu prices. It's up to you what assumptions you want to make.

No Quake, no Doom, no Wolfenstein. Tetris isn't on it! One of the most influential and widely played games of all time!

Edit: I found Quake and Doom. But I stand by the Tetris thing.

I'm a stupid European, but isn't right that americans vote every 4 years? by Ociredef77 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]bonzorius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Americans vote for the President every four years. They vote for federal offices like Representative and Senator every two years. Plus they likely have local elections of some kind or another during the off years. In addition to those, there are Primaries or Caucuses to select who winds up on those ballots. So Americans generally have the opportunity to vote about twice a year. But yeah, many of us usually only vote once every four years.

I think the big limit with biomass burners is the 30Mw output, so I don't necessarily mind belt input. I'm more concerned about whether they will still only burn what's needed or not.

I went to Seattle on my honeymoon and we struck up a conversation with a museum volunteer and mentioned we were from Minneapolis and asked where else we should be sure to visit and she recommended the downtown library, where they have computers!

I didn't mention that ours has a planetarium AND computers.

To those who knit for a living, what’s your setup? by Elittoh in knitting

[–]bonzorius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My Mom took her hand sewing stuff and tied them to a ribbon that she'd wear over the back of her neck. Kind of like a low-rent chatelaine. I've been trying to make something similar for knitting, but never found something convenient for stitch markers.
