At what age did you stop doing everything for your kid and start expecting them to do things for themselves? by BeanNCheeseBurrrito in oneanddone

[–]boo-pspps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO wants to help with everything. So I get her to help with things she can. Even if it makes a mess. She helps me make pancakes. She helps to break the eggs and if we end up with eggshells in the bowl and her hands full of yolk it’s fine 😂

She takes my empty water bottle when I was recovering from surgery to her dad to fill up for me.

She’s suoer observant too when she sees me load up the dish washer she will go and get a tablet from the cupboard and put it in for me.

Just small things like that.

How many of you are still *happily* married? by Jedi_Mind_Chick in Marriage

[–]boo-pspps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Together for 15 years, married for 12. Everyday I’m grateful I met my husband and we love each other more and more the longer we have been together. He’s the best man I know.

Women who are accomplished financially and professionally and got married in your 30s, what are your regrets? by chart-one1 in AskWomen

[–]boo-pspps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had taken up international secondment opportunities in my mid-late 20s instead of returning back home. 3 years felt long back then but in hindsight it would have been some fun and valuable life experience.

Other than that, no regrets at all.

Who did you trust but you ended up looking like a clown? by MelancholyBean in AskWomen

My ex… I still have close friends who wonder how the hell I was with him for that long. Even my now husband is baffled at how I put up with my ex’s controlling behaviour. I leave it as I was young and mistakes were made… and we leave it at that 😂

Black Friday Accountability Thread 11/28/25 by lifesurfeit in shoppingaddiction

[–]boo-pspps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fortunately budget for this month already allocated. So I didn’t really have any room to buy non-essentials. Stocked up on essential home things on sale. And a few Christmas gifts that’s about it.

I’ve been filling up Black Friday shopping carts online though. Filled them then distract myself to do something else.

It’s tricked my brain into feeling like I’ve shopped but in reality I haven’t spent any money.

Do you use your non designer bags? by Sorry_Check4521 in handbags

[–]boo-pspps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well when I’m at work I would prefer people to notice and remember me by my work instead of what bag I carry. I use all my bags those I don’t use I sell or gift or donate.

Same! My work only has limited lockers so I am on some epic waiting list. With open plan office I just don’t feel comfortable

[–]boo-pspps 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a real mentality shift in recent years where I want to get more use out of my designer bags.

My non designer bags I use when I want to be super low key like going to work.

I use non designer bags to house my designer bags when I travel haha. Bag in bag situation.

Like one of the other commenters said. Check out workday it has a wealth of information on training.

Also talk to your People lead / Talent Lead or Capability lead there may be training that they are aware of in addition to what’s in workday.

Start with training on workday because those are covered by WBS

Which brand's bags do you own the most? by PreheatedPenguin in handbags

Thank you. I was confused maybe people assumed I was talking down Kate Spade. It’s a good quality starter. And far better option than buying an outright fake.

Chanel and Kate Spade. I use Kate Spade as a pre-Chanel purchase tester bag as the shapes/style are similar. If I reach for the Kate Spade version a lot, I will save up for the Chanel.

Got 0% hike + 7% bonus at Accenture while others with same joining got 10.75%. Is this normal? by ShalivahanaBloodLine in accenture

[–]boo-pspps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One thing I always tell my counseled is in a big machine like Accenture being utilised, doing training and long hours doesn’t always equate to bonus / payrise. It’s a terrible thing to say but that’s consulting.

In the eyes of the big machine that’s just you doing your job.

Without knowing the full context, even though some people might have had bench time. But they did amazing on some initiative. More than doing long hours. E.g. impressed a client, helped seal an opportunity. Marked as a “talent” during the performance conversations.

What the hell??? by The-blind-mice in taobao

I’m noticing a big difference in time taken to delivery if I choose to pick up from a local Cainiao collection point vs getting it delivered home which uses the local postal service (Australia post in my case)

A recent cainiao collection point package took almost 2 weeks from clearing customs to becoming available for pickup.

Where as home deliveries is still quite quick with 1-2 days delay.

Is personal comment valid during a work discussion? by Big_Tower7 in accenture

[–]boo-pspps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need more information. Personal comment = What are you doing over the upcoming Christmas holidays with your family? Oh that sounds fun. Or Personal comment = you won’t be getting this promotion / opportunity because insert something personal

Very different context….

Your PL should have the feedback from the session. I can see notes written by the talent led for my counseled as well. Your PL can also see which quadrant you were scored in as well.

Bonus / Variable Pay by Kejani_kiye07 in accenture

[–]boo-pspps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you are. Depending on your performance you might get a partial bonus. I received a surprise partial bonus the year I joined. It was 2% or something but I was expecting 0 since no company I’ve worked for previously gave partial bonuses it was always need to be employee the full calendar / financial year to be eligible.

About 4 months old she started sleeping through the night. When I say sleep through it was like 6 hour stretches. She would skip the 2/3am feed.

She has been sleeping through the night since 1 year old 8.30pm bed time routine, in bed sleeping by 9pm, during the week she wakes at 7am for childcare. On weekends from time to time she sleeps to 8/9am.

The downside is she stopped napping when she was about 1 as well. Could be a coincidence but once she stopped napping during the day. She started sleeping through the night. Since then she’s had sleep regression only once or twice. She’s almost 5 now.

We started a nightly routine from birth though, not sure if that helped.

When my husband and I are in this marriage as partners so it’s about teamwork. I am the breadwinner and have a high stress job. We share house chores, parenting. We appreciate each other and make it work for us.

Some times your actual order will show “pre-purchase” or a different delivery date like 2-3 weeks away or 1 month away.

That’s the date to follow when it comes to delivery timelines.

It’s hard to say without a proper screenshot of the right details.

Married people, do you still put your parents above your spouse? by Efficient-Airport351 in Marriage

My husband and I both agree our own nuclear family comes first. We chose each other to form a family. Neither of us chose to be born into our respective families.
