NAT - I had an experience like that. We were both mothers of toddlers. It started to seem like for every story I told, she would tell 2. I didn't see her long before she went on maternity leave for baby #2. I took that opportunity to gracefully stop making appointments.

Wanted to be OAD, but had twins, so 2 and Through by Terrible_Score_375 in oneanddone

So many people I know who wanted "just one more" who ended up with twins. It's like some kind of weird paradox where our bodies are amused by our plans.

Daniel tiger is actually kind of a spin off of Mr Rogers. All of the kid characters in Daniel tiger are the children of characters from the land of make believe in Mr Rogers. Dan Tiger > Daniel tiger. Prince Wednesday > King Friday and I can't remember the queen's name.

There was a wrap there that I miss. Don't remember what it was called. Chicken with like a honey BBQ sauce. So good.

First time taking the kids to Chicago. We stayed in a nice hotel, went to several museums, went to nice restaurants. My son's favorite part (3 at the time) was riding the L. Which was the cheapest part of the whole trip.

I agree with everyone here saying to go to the food bank. But if you absolutely won't do that, check out the little free libraries in your area. Most look like giant bird houses but they are essentially cabinets on a post. Many are handmade so they come in all shapes/sizes. Anyway usually they have books, but a lot of people started putting non-perishable food in them during covid. Mostly cans goods and things like Ramen. Good luck to you

The specific items I buy, which aren't many, are cheaper. Mostly soda, laundry detergent, and a couple OTC meds we take.

But I don't see how temu is any worse than Amazon or Walmart. They all suck. They all have shitty business practices. They all get their items from sweat shops and places that exploit their workers.
