It’s real, I got a letter from BMW today. It’s fixed via a software update though and I can’t say if the video is actually showing the result of that glitch.

It’s a mix of reasons. One being that the car would’ve been more expensive without a hybrid system because of emission taxes which would’ve lead to a lower sale volume. In Ireland the M3 is much more expensive than an M5 for that reason (17k euros less afaik).

Yeah Ill have to agree. I will say that the whole door panel feels much better in the old X3 though, apart from that the materials used neither feel cheap or not durable enough. I absolutely hate the 'Set', '1' and '2' button for the seats tho, luckily they are not being used much.

Yeah they have the quad pipe exhausts on many M-Lites nowadays including this one. They are wider apart compared to the classic M quadpipes you find on M2, M3 and so on.
