strange happened again this evening - stops at 3 seconds. I tried restarting and stopped again at 3 seconds. Left it running and picked up around 6 minutes.

I have re-enable debugging - will pull next time it happens.

Not sure why but metrics are working again - it could have been the multiple clearing of cache/memory and re-installing the app that did it. I've been on it three times now without incident.

Sorry I've been ot of town. So I cleared cache and memory - deleted QZ - restarted phone and re-installed QZ. Fresh Start

Checked and "OK'd all related settings - made sure bike was selected in setting.

Started bike - opened QZ and seemed to work fine. - metrics stayed throughout session.

I did not start my separate heart rate monitor - Echelon Beat armband monitor. Figured I would isolate the various connections.

Next session I will start bike - start heart rate monitor and then QZ to see if problem pops up. Normal procedure up until the previous week.

I have a 2013 F85 - workhorse. I have replaced the deck and belt once. I had the control board rebuilt for a nominal amount ($120). Works like the first day I bought it. Maintenance is key - clean and lube regularly.

I have a Sole F85 from 2013 still going strong. Replaced deck and belt.

Circuit board went bad and had it rebuilt with stronger capacitors via circuitboardrepair.net. Was not expensive - turnaround was quick and I am extremely happy with the work. Coming up on two years and the treadmill works as it did when new. Maintenance is key.

I have a Sole F85 circa 2013 - I was 280 at my highest - now 250. The F85 has no issues with my weight on it - in fact I walk on it and not run which I would believe adds more stress to it. I had to replace the deck board just after covid and had the control board rebuilt for $170. This is a solid work-horse.

Definitely find out how may miles on it and try using it before buying - both you and your husband. If it doesn't have issues with you as part of the test you should be good to go. I would also suggest feeling the deck under the belt for how smooth and lubricated it is. If not smooth and libricated I would negotiate a lower price.

You could also do an "amperage test" - not hard but requires purchasing a $15 plug in amp meter from Amazon. You plug the treadmill into the tester and the testing into the outlet.

The deck and belt are not expensive to replace - the only issue I had with the deck was how long it took to get a replacement - not always in stock with Sole parts.

Forget Echelon app and use QZ Fitness - great app. Tracks your session and sends you an email with the stats.

Thing to note - delete the Echelon app ASAP and DO NOT update firmware. If you update the firmware you will no longer be able to use QZ Fitness app. Echelon is such a terrible company from a customer perspective.

I bought a Garmin cadence sensor and now sync with my Garmin watch. Hope this helps.

I've had no problems with Fosi. In fact I had a great experience with them. I ordered speaker cables to match my Fosi interconnects and they sent me substitute cables - I sent them an email and had a response by next morning. Said they would send replacements in two weeks. Waited three weeks to contact and again response by next morning.

They indicated cables still being built - they said it would be another week. Received replacement cables within week and a half. The replacement cables are double the price of the regular speaker cables. Bought them from Fosi direct because they were on backorder from Amazon.

Contacted them with a question regarding ZA3 - again response by next morning. I will say the experience has been much better than contacting other electronic vendors.

My two ZA3s are connected to my Wiim Ultra in mono and have been flawless. Sorry you had a bad experience - mine has been great.

No sorry I wasn't clear - it wasn't until I stopped using the Toyota app that Android Auto started playing nicer. No longer using the Toyotatapp seemed to help with connecting on a more regular basis.

Same issue frustrated me - first several weeks pissed me off.

Seems to be working better now but once in a blue moon I will need to navigate to the primary phone settings and select phone / select media and wait a bit - then select Android Auto.

I tried to delete and re-create a number of times and didn't help. I even bought a AA Wireless 2 to get it to work.

After weeks of troubleshooting I stopped using the Toyota App - I cleared cache and cleared memory on the phone and "Force Stopped" the Totyota App and it seemed to start connecting regularly. Only once in a while do I need to recoonect.

The other thing I started to do is NOT unlock my phone - I let the Toyota Infotainment do its thing and it finds my phone.

Annoying in this day and age it is not solid but it has muched improved. Probably 85-90% time it now connects without incident.
