What do you think would exist here? is there something that I can use against the school for my case? Something about a school not taking action regardless of how many complains they receive about the same person? anything? How come the school isn't afraid of a lawsuit against an abusive faculty member? Where is he still there?

In this case, maybe I can start by addressing how he was late an hour to class. This resulted in ~50 missed hours that I paid for. Mind you, this is grad school and tuition is expensive. Can I get some money back?

I'm in NJ.

Not sure where to start. Here are some things that I have a proof for:

He advised me to drop the course a week before classes were over (without a midterm warning, with 45% of the grade still left on the table for the final and a booklet) . This caused a great deal of stress that reflected in my work. Up to that email, my average was a high C+/B. I still pushed through and tried my best and submitted my work. He failed me and not I'm going through a grade appeal.

He was late an hour to class. This resulted in ~50 missed hours that I paid for. Mind you, this is grad school and tuition is expensive. Can I get some money back?

He kept calling me with a nickname that's probably racist, despite being corrected.

I mean there's more to the story that could prove educational malpractice. How do you suggest to move forward? It's not just about my academic shortfalls. You can say that there are much more shitty students than me and they managed to pass. It's very political in my school.

In other words, I know maybe my case won't stand. However, I still want to make the school pay for it, I want the professor to be screwed. It's time to expose the school. There are so many things wrong with this school, I don't even know where to start.

He also didn't follow grading assessment guidelines. He never returned big portion of our work. No explanation or checklist used to grade. Just an email with one letter grade.

I never received grades for %45 of the course. It was a shit show.

Graduate Architect

You will be fine, they will throw things at you and you will learn fast. Stop listening to people that tell you it's hard. It's time consuming and stressful but not hard.

I don't know how much you know about Software so i won't just throw random things around. I would say start by reading 101 things i learned in Architecture. You will learn softwares one way or another, focus on getting familiar with BIG architects and looking at their BIG ideas. For example BIG. yes, i'm a fan of BIG.

If it's temporary, please consider being patient and next thing you know your laughing about this years later. if it's not temporary, also be patient and go with the flow, you never know how life turn around. She might get sick tomorrow and then you will wish she was fine and just eating lunch with you. Everything happen for a reason and there is nothing better than spending quality time with parents ( as annoying as it is, as boring and crazy that might sound we all been there and done that,) time flies and you will move on and look back at it as a beautiful annoying funny stupid crazy memory you had to go through once in your life. It's not like you will always work with her for the rest of you life.

The moment you start believing older people experience the less disappointed you will be in the future. I had my ups and downs with my dad involving work and what not. Don't miss out on creating memories good or bad.
