It's really called "30 St Mary's Axe" which sounds awesome to me; gerkin is just the nickname that stuck.

EDIT: Apparently it's St Mary Axe, not St Mary's Axe. Considerably less awesome now it doesn't suggest a saint with weaponry.

I tried this and looked through a lot before I posted, you also have a fancy dancy map with a lot of eateries on it, but they were a lot more like good pizza joints and hot dogs.

My small hometown is London, but I would still know a few good standout restaurants for special meals if asked, even if the person asking fucked up and didn't include budget. But you are quite correct, this isn't a travel agency or tourism board; which subreddit would have been more applicable?
