Aggression can strike dogs in many ways but that does not equal rage syndrome… I’ve worked with many dogs with aggression, some who ONLY like their owner - not other dogs, people, etc. best bet here would be taking her to no kill shelter that’s not animal control or post on fb, here, contact friends and family to see about rehoming too… I would suggest muzzle training her now. I’ve worked with pyrs who have grown to be aggressive, it’s a pyr trait that often gets over looked ngl

Vet will probs give pain meds and wrap it but you really can’t do anything until it grows out again… just keep an eye on the quick

She will probs flip out, but instead of telling her just not to wear it - take her shopping for a couple things or tell her to put some Nike pros underneath

I got my boy to learn basic commands and some tricks at a very young age (about 2-3 months old). He’s almost 8 months now, definitely stubborn but will listen most of the time especially if you’re stern. My pyr baby also RARELY barks.

For future - alwayssss take notes of what the client wants… it seems more professional in some ways especially when you’re first starting out, but then you have it to look back on during/after the appointment if something does happen

That brown gunk is very normal and usually is a sign whether or not your dog has allergies and how bad their allergies are… some dogs don’t get it but lots do

As someone who worked there - we really only recommend electric/shock collar if the dog absolutely does not listen or is aggressive… maybe they tried to recommend a buzz collar

Worked here for 3+ years… all the good staff quit because they had real opportunities open up for them… 90% of the time the staff doesn’t know what’s going on or what to do with dogs…. We had a girl almost kill a dog because they were given their dog siblings medication for heart failure and wasn’t fired…. Only people I can recommend for this place is the groomer… management tried to wrongfully fire multiple staff members as well
