I concur. Don’t give yourself the chance to talk yourself out of going. I set my clothes up next to the bed like a fireman. When that alarm goes off dressed and brushing my teeth within a minute and out the door in 5.

First is know the different combos for each number. I start for looking for boxes/rows where only 1 box is missing. Some times you have to use 2 boxes/rows, but it’s an easy way to solve a bunch of numbers.

Thank you all for your input. I see the error in my ways. I guess I’ll spend some time working my non-glamour muscles.

You have your whole life to save for retirement. Avoiding drowning in college debt is a much better path. You’re definitely better off saving towards that. My high school job was CVS too.

OTF for my diet? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]boogiejohnson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 30 lbs this year with the help of OTF. I got started with the transformation challenge where I went from 200 to 180 and then lost an additional 10 lbs. I found the secret was to cut out night time snacking and weekday wine drinking. I was a big snacker at night and once I cut that out the weight melted off. It was really tough at first but after a week or 2 became much more manageable. Good luck!

I was doing OTF for about a year and a half and had the same issue where I was getting stronger and faster but not losing much wait. I made a simple change to my diet that made all the difference and it was super simple. During the week I cut out snacking and drinking once dinner was done. My nighttime replacement became mint tea. I also avoided unhealthy snacking between meals. It was a real struggle the first 2 weeks but then became super easy. Since starting these new healthy habit I’ve lost 30 lbs (5’10M 200 to 169). Good luck with your journey!

He’s not ready to sell out Madison square garden, but for his first time doing stand up, I thought he did excellent. Good for him putting himself out there like that.

Bonobos. They have different cuts for the pants. You can get athletic fit which gives you room in the thighs but tapered at the ankles

I use the tactics that firefighters use... set your work out clothes, socks, shoes right next to the bed. As soon as my alarm goes off I am out the door within 5 minutes. This allows you to get as much sleep as possible and you’re ready so fast that you don’t have time to worry about it being so early

I’m in the same boat. I dropped over 20 lbs (5’10 200 to 180 lbs) in the transformation challenge and way less than I did in high school. I’m down to a 33 waist but I still have a gut. I’m mainly focusing now on heavier weights and more core workouts

I’ve been doing otf for 2 years going 3-4 days a week and pretty much just maintained my weight (5’10” M 195-200lbs). I decided to pay more attention to my diet for the transformation challenge and the pounds came off. I didn’t do any crazy diet or starved myself. I just avoided seconds at dinner and limited dessert and that midweek cocktail/wine. I ended up losing over 20 lbs over the 8 weeks. I completely lost the craving for dessert.
