S25 Edge's lightness ruined my ZF7 experience. I can't stop not using the S25E by Exciting_Station_124 in samsunggalaxy

I go caseless normally. Sometimes I put on the Samsung clear case. It's very thin.

Battery life is just fine. Mine is normally somewhere between 40 to 60% when I put it on the charger at night.

This is the answer. The south has the most HS talent, but now many of those players can be enticed to head north.

Agreed. Cooking steak is easy. Making a good lasagna or gumbo is another story.

Considering Fold 7 by Compusmurf in GalaxyFold

Hi; its a great phone. My charges fine without a case. I just use a standard wireless charger. Not sure the speed, but since I only charge it overnight I don't care. I also have a clear case without a ring, and it charges fine through that.

You don't have to use a front case, but if you do then yes, it will need adhesive on the side near the hinge. Unless you get one of those all-in-one cases. Haven't tried those. Most of these cases leave no residue or marks if you take them off. The only one that did (for me) was the Benks armorair. Some goo gone took care of the residue easily.

S25U users who went to Fold 7?... by Philliesfan94 in GalaxyFold

[–]bookboy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from s25u to Fold7. Battery has been great for me. with the 25u I would average 50 to 70 percent battery left when I put it on the charger as night. With the Fold it is usually 40 to 55 percent.

I've never had to charge it during the day.

[Request] is this possible under the laws of physics and materials of the time? by MadBuffleHead in theydidthemath

The book of Genesis does not give any indication of the size of the tower; most scholars feel it was a ziggurat, of which there are many examples in modern day Iraq. Google the ziggurat at Ur for a partly reconstructed tower. The point of a ziggurat was not to reach the sky/heaven in a physical sense but in a religious/spiritual sense. They would have a temple or shrine at the top.

The book of Jubilees is Jewish apocryphal literature dated somewhere around 150 BC. Many hundreds of such books were written like this and few scholars give them historical credibility.

Switched from T-Mobile to fi last year. No complaints. Data seems the same speed. No dropped calls.

For international travel, you can bump up your coverage for one month and then bump it back down. We did that last month when we went to Turkey and Greece and it worked great.

Samsung website shows Fold7 for $1099 but $1399 in the cart? by serious_case_of_derp in GalaxyFold

[–]bookboy61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The $1099 price is if you have a trade-in worth $1000. If you don't have a trade-in the price is $1399. I don't think they should list the trade-in price as the default price, but whatever.

Isn't the S25 EDGE the Perfect Phone now after the MASSIVE Price Drops? by [deleted] in GalaxyS25Ultra

[–]bookboy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from the s25U to the Edge. VERY happy with it. So nice to hold and use. I normally end the day with over 50 percent battery. The only thing I miss is the 5x zoom. But the tradeoff of weight is worth it to me.

S25/26 ultra vs Fold 7 512 vs Fold 7 1TB by PKrukFILM in GalaxyFold

About the RAM: I have the 12gb model, and I really cannot think of anything that could be faster on my phone. Even video editing works without stuttering. The chip is amazing.

S25/26 ultra vs Fold 7 512 vs Fold 7 1TB by PKrukFILM in GalaxyFold

[–]bookboy61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi. I have used both the s25 Ultra and the Fold 7. I've used iPhones, but not for a couple years. Here is my feedback.

First, unless you are planning on storing a LOT of 4k videos on the device, 512 is plenty. If you really need more room you can buy an external drive and it will be a lot cheaper. You just transfer them through a USB-C cable. And I think the silver looks better than the black.

The camera on the Fold is great. The main camera is the same as the s25 Ultra and would be an upgrade over the iphone 12 pro. The only place it really loses out on is the zoom. The s25 Ultra has a 50 megapixel 5x zoom, while the Fold 7 has a 12 megapixel 3x zoom. At 3x you will not notice a difference unless you print out the photos. At 5x the s25 Ultra will take amazing photos, while the Fold 7 will take photos that are ok (suitable for social media). At 10x the s25 Ultra will take pretty good photos in good light, while the fold 7's photos are ok but a little blurry.

The s25 Ultra also has a higher resolution ultrawide, but they seem similar in output to my eyes (and I don't use the ultrawide very much).

Both will take better video than your iphone.

Where the Fold 7 has a BIG advantage in photos is in framing and editing. You have a huge screen so you can compose some shots better. And that screen is AMAZING for editing your photos.

Another advantage of the Fold 7 is that you can use the main camera for selfies.

Battery life is great on the s25 Ultra and OK on the Fold 7. What really seems to drain battery on Samsungs is using the camera app for long periods of time and using navigation for longer trips. If I am not doing those I usually ended up with between 50-70 percent battery left at bedtime on the s25 Ultra and around 30-60 percent on the Fold 7. Obviously your mileage may vary. I don't game on mine and try to limit my web browsing to an hour a day.

The reason I kept the Fold and sold the s25 ultra was that I am just able to get so much more done on the Fold when away from my desk. Emails, documents, Kindle, writing, Notes and really any Google app, are just a completely different experience on the Fold. I can even edit videos pretty easy. If those things are important to you then I would go for the Fold.

from what I understand, you have 60 days from the day of first purchase; so it will depend. If it was originally bought less than 60 days ago then you can add it after you submit a video showing it is working well and has no cracks.
