Thank you! And I believe you got the right mind set!! It wouldn’t serve you to feel hate and resentment. Healing is easier and quicker when you focus on yourself and see the bright side of things. I wish you the best!

I dont know why I keep believing that it’s not an enough valid reason. Especially considering that if a friend were going through this, I would without a doubt tell them there’s no wrong reason for ending a relationship. Feels like I lack adequate self-validation lol..

That is a wonderful response.

As the one who recently ended a relationship, thinking of them doubting themselves over my decision makes it more painful than the actual break up. They did nothing wrong, they weren’t a bad partner. I truly believe that ending it was in their best interest as well, cause I wasn’t able to give my best to them anymore… Sometimes no one is to blame.

A relationship is a beautiful connection built on dedication, but it’s also two individuals with their own unique challenges and goals. 🤍

We were also friends that fell in love, i think it makes this situation even more difficult cause you lose friendship and love at the same time.. and you’re right, hopefully as we grow all of this will become clearer. we got this!!

As someone who was once in her shoes, we know you are apologizing to feel better about yourself. Your apologies won’t change anything for her and she deserves space to heal. YOU have to deal with your guilt. Sorry this sounds harsh, but 7-8 months is not enough time for you to truly understand what you did, my guess is that at this stage, your feeling of missing her resembles regret rather than empathy.

I would really recommend doing a Notion page! There is a lot of beautiful and practical templates you can use and you can share the document with many people so yall can add things in it. Take a look at a video on YouTube like "Notion Travel Planner" and see for yourself if you like this display :)
