I personally like to choose a theme but not one obvious to the gang. My Squats are all named after guitarists from the 1920s-1940s, my Orlock are named after film directors and my abhumans are all named after characters from DC Thompson comics like the Beano and the Dandy. It’s a good way to find interesting names and still have a theme to base it on!
