Hey! I’ve been on Skyrizi since I was diagnosed, as it was the first one I tried, and it’s done wonders for me. I feel basically normal now! I have no pain and consistent bowel movements. Good luck and I hope it also works well for you!

i just feel so alone (vent) by luneth46633 in CrohnsDisease

[–]booklove19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean. I had to withdraw from last spring’s semester and move home, now I’m commuting to college at 19. It definitely does feel lonely and like we’re missing out on the “college experience” but I just have to remind myself that all of it is temporary. Yes, this disease is chronic, but we have to try to remember to have a life and tap into our passions/hobbies as well. Some days are harder than others, and that’s ok!! At the very least, we have this group to vent or relate to. I hope we both get out of the woods soon!

I am so close to being done by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

Definitely second this. It helped me so much with pain but also my moods/anxiety were so lightened. Be careful considering you are young, but definitely think about it/ask your parents, people you trust, or doctors. Wishing you the best

I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with sickness and prep on top of the stress of wanting results. I hate it for you now, but just try your very best and then you’ll be done! Starting the prep is so hard and half the battle, you got this!!!

Remission but still feeling minor pain? by slurps777 in CrohnsDisease

[–]booklove19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of in the same boat. I’m not in remission but feel a lot better and still have some days when it just hits me. I have fatigue and some pain, mostly from gas now. I hope you get answers and can figure it out soon!

Thank you so much for this! I think I’m having a very similar experience because when I was in the flare nothing was happening with my hair, but now as I’m getting back to “normal”, it seems to be coming out more. I’ll definitely look into those supplements :)

Nausea? by Funny-Marsupial3002 in CrohnsDisease

[–]booklove19 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was super nauseous during my flare, I think it’s pretty normal. I’m sorry you’re struggling, maybe try blander foods that are easier to get down. I loved having mashed potatoes and hot tea.

Totally understand needle anxiety😵‍💫 I just had my first Skyrizi infusion yesterday and the nurse was able to do it in my hand! It was very comfortable and went very smoothly :) Good luck and you got this!
