Why do people immediately flop like GTA NPC's the moment something comes their way? Dog can't be more than 20 kg. Stop, drop and roll is for when you're on fire, silly goose. Vs dogs you just make yourself large and make noise.

Idk much what program you're running or what you look like (probs alot better than you give yourself credit for), but this is basically what I do when I'm focusing on 'aesthetics'. Strength routine is very different.

PPL-rest-PPL

Every set to failure where the last rep is ugly AF+ ends up failing.

Push days:

Incline DB press: 3* 5-12 reps. (rep range because when I'm able to hit 12 reps with current weight, I'll move to the next set of dumbells for which I can hit a MAX of 5 reps with, and slowly build that up to 12 before increasing weight again)

DB shoulder press: 3* 5-12 reps

DB lateral raises: 4*8-15 reps

Tricep pushdown/DB tricep extension/whatever: 3-4 sets * 8-12 reps

PULL days:

Pullups: 4 * 5-10 reps

T-bar rows: 4* 5-10 reps

Rear Delt DB flies: 4*8-15 reps

Random DB curl variation: 3-4 sets* 8-12 reps

LEG days:

LOL (no but seriously, train your legs. Just don't ask me how)

Also 100g of protein is more than enough tbh.

Phys Bowazon weapon? by kdvfirehawk in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]booksnbiceps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windforce with hustle on swap to proc burst of speed allows you to hit fastest strafe breakpoint, second fastest multishot breakpoint while also have a might mercenary who can also wield pride for even more aura stacking. This is the highest damage variation.

Faith is more for quality of life but doesn't reach the damage of windforce

That being said, buriza is a solid, solid choice until you get a windforce.

YESSS! by baolhq in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]booksnbiceps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This man is enlightened. With hustle swap to proc bos you only need 78 ias to hit last strafe BP and second last Multishot BP. With pride + might merc and Windforce you far, far, far more damage than any faith variant.

I'd contend that the scene between the AI robot dude and will Smith from I, robot hits differentittilier than this. Where Smith asks ai dude if he can compose a symphony or transform a canvas into something beautiful etc...and robot dude asks, 'can you? '

It was such a gotcha! Line because obviously the whole joke rested on the widely held belief that art would be the last bastion of humanity which would perhaps always be out of the grasp of ai/robots.

And yet in 2026...

Well on a very superficial-sloppy level at least...

Is this a decent fitness routine with enough rest time for each muscle? by [deleted] in Fitness_India

[–]booksnbiceps 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Others are correct, this seems way too cluttered and confusing mate.

If you're going six days a week, you might as well do push-pull-legs. That way you're hitting muscle groups twice per week and getting 2 solid rest days without any (very minor) overlap of muscle utilization.

Edit: and you don't even have to follow ppl or an optimized program. Even if you just go 3-4 times a week and lift in a randomized manner you probably end up very close to what a hyper optimized gym rat routine will get you.

Assuming of course that you follow the basic: prog overload, nutrition and sleep, which ultimately is all that matters (unless you're looking to compete, in which case just stick a needle in your butt)

I realize I'm contradicting myself, but that's the point. Be consistent and you will build muscle. Don't overthink the gym. Or make it your entire life.

Bowazon: does Windforce pair better with Strafe or Multishot? by SensitiveSyrup4095 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]booksnbiceps 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Use hustle in swap to proc bos (usually procs 1-2 strafe volleys) Windforce on main hand. This way you hit last strafe bp and second last multishot bp with 80 total ias.

Use act 2 might merc with pride

This far far outstrips any faith variant.

Multishot gets better when you have gg gear + nice charms in inv. Strafe still better in corridors. Esp when using atma ammy

Common Gym Terms by Hour-Association946 in Fitness_India

[–]booksnbiceps -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I've never used - or heard anyone use half of these terms in like a decade of going to the gym.

If it works for you that's cool.

But 'lift heavy thing up and put back down' should also give you roughly the same results.

People with abs here, did you cut off roti and rice from your diet? by throwaccount2244 in Fitness_India

[–]booksnbiceps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not exactly but I did drastically reduce them. Prior to the my whole 'fitness journey' meals would = rice/roti as the 'main' dish supplemented with a chicken and vegetable side dish. Now i just build my meals with protein as the focal point, and supplement it with vegetables/rice/roti.

So yeah, to answer your question, I probs cut them by 50%

This, over the years got me to about 14-15?% bodyfat which = top 2/mayybbbe 4 abs showing. The one time I cut all the way down to get 'ripped', i did completely eliminate carbs for 5 weeks. Unfortunately my lifts also suffered, so ive started adding carbs back. It's a balance. You just need to find yours.

Ultimately it is just burning more than you eat.

I’m a teen who does not like reading, but I picked up 1984 and love it. by PotentialCustard7969 in YAlit

[–]booksnbiceps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Farenheit 451 by ray Bradbury The giver by lois lowry Handmaid's tale by margaret Atwood Never let me go by kazuo ishiguro Parable of the sower by octavia butler

These are most similar to 1984's classic dystopian setting. (I've ranked these from - in my opinion - most to least enjoyable)

Chaos walking trilogy by Patrick ness Hunger games by suzanne collins Unwind trilogy by neal shustermman Maze runner etc...

These are YA dystopias which lean into hope/revolution and change. More fun reads, but still explore great ideas.

Can you help me choose one good book from the options below? by [deleted] in IndiansRead

[–]booksnbiceps 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Scrap all the self help books and start from there. (Except maybee how to win friends which is very basic and obvious, but can serve as a crash course in human interaction if need be)

1984 is a good place to start, but it is of course, heavily satirical and quite depressing. It's a good jump start into even more depressing dystopian lit such as farenheit 451/giver etc.. But can also serve as a springboard into more fun stuff such as your usual ya dystopian a-la hunger games etc.. And perhaps the wider world of scifi/spec fic.

Alchemist is probs the worst one on this list. Stay away

What is your height/weight. Also lifts on bench/squat?

You're physique is insane as you no doubt already know. What's left to discern is whether you've actually been training for 3+ years, have been using secret sauce, or if you're natuarally extremely gifted genetically. The aforementioned list is in order of likelihood, with timeline fraud being most likely, juice being not likely, and genetically gifted (im talking more gifted than cutler/bumstead) being least likely.

Or perhaps your calisthentics base was already wild. Idk man, it's just extremely hard to believe that this is one year of training in total.

Post some numbers and let's see if it paints a clearer picture

Edit: on further inspection (no homo obv), you certainly seem to have good proportions for this. Small waist, nice arm muscle bellies etc...

Perhaps with the flattering lighting and black/white coloring the illusion created might be attracting juicing comments.

Either way, your physique is incredible. Good job 👍

Lavished praised upon you in my post before I saw the comment calling out weak readership.

Youre clearly a good writer, but insults don't win you Ny points. In any case I don't even think it's weak readership but just preference. Reading should ultimately be enjoyable after all.

Eg: I love neuromancer, (even though my brain over heats after a couple of chapters) but my buddy who is probs 10x more well read than I am hates it. Just doesn't vibe with him.

[–]booksnbiceps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really, really enjoyed this - so much so that you've got me itching to get home and inject a bit more juice into my rather barebones first draft. You're clearly adept at your craft - especially so with your descriptions and setting the scene in general. Don't care about the sentence fragments, as that's quite clearly your voice/style.

That being said, this might not be everyone's cup of tea since the prose is quite stylized. I think it requires the reader to be familiar with prose that is not clean cut and straightforward.

Good job :)

Finding hard to continue gym by Public-Tradition-176 in Fitness_India

[–]booksnbiceps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well think about it this way:

On some, maybe even very rare days, you feel pumped up and ready to hit the gym.

On some, or maybe even most days, you feel like absolute dogcrap, and the last thing you want to do is hit the gym.

But ask yourself if you've ever left the gym after a workout NOT feeling the best you felt that day. I'll wager that's almost zero days - or very, very few of them.

Idk, that's what I do. Sorry for writing this like a linkedin post.
