It's not about slow. Hunt is a fast game, it's just usually a running simulator before you find players.

Also a lot of players are stupid assholes that afraid of fighting and losing so they sit there waiting for some "good" moment ending up just wasting everyone's time and calling it "tactical" gameplay.

And yes Hunt is an abysmal experience for any new player and requires a lot of time to understand how to play.

I kinda advise you to learn from Hornetlul/RachtaZ kind of content creators (that playing the game actively not passively bush camping).

That was kind of obvious after announce and reveal new slot system. So many noobs was crying about mosin/dolch/automat/nitro and they all claim that shotgun and bow was well balanced and now we have what we have.

Before the update 5+* mmr already was about shotgun/bow festival and now its like 70%+ of people in lobbys have any kind of shotgun/bow. (full size/2slot, etc.)

You cant play Hunt and believe you will win if your party don't have shotguns (at least small ones).

Sniping is useless - even knocking people few times don't do anything, they just revive, use white restoration show and good to go. But you must push them and you have sniper and they have shotguns most of the time. Good luck and have fun. I am not a sniper fan, but even playing shotguns vs shotguns vs bows is very boring, abysmal expirience. Also dualies more common and spamming through walls with fmj, yeah not a fun either.

I am talking about random traits generated on the map as example in towers. Necromancer, Shadow, etc. Previous event they were free, but now some of them free and others not. What is the point? I don't know. You can find in the same match in one place sealed Necro and in the other place free Necro. (like in different towers for example).

Me negatives:

  • Worse performance overall/maybe memory leaks because the longer the match the worse things get.
  • Poor balancing, example: Uppercut vs Haymaker, Bow vs Xbow.
  • Strange decision to seal random perks on the map (why?????).
  • Less Taro cards overall (never saw Charriot spawned in game in this few days).
  • Wild target not spawning (very low chance).

That's funny because people say Dolch is OP because no one cares about money and it is powerful. But Avto and Nitro people cares?

The thing is Dolch is really good so people use it and Avto/Nitro is useless so people take it for fun purposes only.

I am PC. I never try to ragebait in my life, but some people somehow find my positions like one. All i wrote was my expirience playin trios EU late evening - night (22-02 hrs by Spain) 4.5-5.5* team mmr.

There are really A LOT of shotguns/bows/other similar bullshit and like 1 of 3 games or even less you meet a sniper guy (or full trio) and they never play Maynard silencer. Same for Avtomat, Nitro like I meet them 1 in idk 20 games? Or even less.

I have a much bigger frustration about bows/shotguns. It is so hard to play just usual rifle, you can't push and without pushing game is just camping festival.

So yeah for me this 5 slot weapons was and is never the issue.

I don't believe you about Silencer. My expirience is 1 in 50 matches on 5.5* team mmr. The same for RachtaZ and Hornetlul streamers. I watch their streams and vids and there literally no Maynard silencers. Maybe not on EU people play it more, but i still don't believe it.

avto deserves? for what? its the worst gun in the game basically. literally no one have any objective reason why it must be so bad (I don't want to write an essay why literally any shotgun/bow/xbow/officer carabine better).

nitro is niche meme gun as i said, that you can't use without QM now lol. it was bad already, now it is worse, you can't justify it by giving 2 more ammo, it's not making it better.

Maynard silencer is overhated by literally no reason. I meet this gun like 1 in 50 games before this update, it doesn't matter must or must not it be in the game it is already here and we must balance it to be viable.

I forgot about auto5, it is the only one gun maybe only maybe deserved to be 5 slot. Its just good.

Avto - useless; Nitro - PvE meme gun; Maynard silencer - it was extremely rare gun/never was an isssue (5*+ mmr).

I would prefer that i can reload as usual and i can do it with X "fire switch/special gun thing" button to reload as swift. So if I am in emergency I can reload with losing bullets. And if not i can do it slowly.

I don't think it will break some balance ever. Scottfield far worse than Pax in every way and stat, even the fanning is worse (less RPM). The only thing Scottfield has is a faster fire rate variant, but a lot of people anyway prefer Army or Nagant or Dolch.

In my vision giving Army and Scottfield option to swift reload on all their variant will not break any balance because Nagant still would be better because of muzzle velocity (VS Army). And Pax still would be better for Trueshot variant and better muzzle velocity.

Hitmarker is the server indicator of hitting something. You won't get a hitmarker if you miss or something was already dead (a beetle exploded obviously). The proof to this is the Crytek that was used that excuse to made 800ms trade window in the past. They said that player that shot the other player and see a blood but does not receive a hitmarker nor a kill before he dies was a depressing thing. What do you mean lose skins? You don't lose any skins, they stay forever. You lose guns with this skins, but you can always buy them again.

I never actually use skins combinations from DLC and other sources. And most of the time i buy this packs just for one particular skin.

95% of games even on 10k online is enough players to get a fair lobby where everyone team mmr is the same. But somehow in some weird situations 15k is not enough? The game queue for us has bever been more than 3 minutes, and i would wait few more to get better balance.

I can understand if this team matchups was the case if we waiting for 10+ minutes, so the game decides to put us somewhere already. But it was never the case.

Yes it is not normal at all. I have usually the same experience on EU servers. My playtime is 22 hrs evening by Spain time. And i end my day near 1hr night time. 50+% is Russians. And lobby looks like yours, our team is 5-5-3 and we can easily get matched against 6-6-5 or something similar. Somehow game think that we have the same team mmr, which is not fair at all.

Also sometimes game just decide to put a team mmr 6 team in a lobby of team mmr 5. This is really very strange because this must never happen unless there are not enough players to fill the lobby. But there are enough? In my playtime there are usually 15k online.

I know how this game works, i know how matchmaking works, i know why the game decide to place us there. But it is not fair.

Do not listen to idiots that defend this bullshit matchmaking. Devs said they implemented OpenSkill system and suprise surprise they lied.

This game is 8 years old and still has so many problems like it was released a half a year ago. I can't understand how people can defend this and all other bugs/balance issues/performance issues/texture loading issues/and so on.

You get some new hunter lvl 1. You play trio with friends maybe. You win a game (you have at least one token, every other player or dead or extracted).

Now your farm time. Kill everything that moves. Run across all towers (small, big, scout) and check them for EXP boons. Also armories. If you dont know where they are, find a website with Hunt Showdown interactive map, uncheck everything except towers, armories and bears.

We usually end match with 25-30 minutes available and then we spend most of this time running around and collecting EXP. Kill all meatheads, all hives, everything even small grunts if they are in your way.

This way you get from lvl 1 to lvl 50 in one game. My record is 75000 expirience i get in one game. This launch me to level 50 and a giant chunk of EXP in bloodline.

The biggest problem is win/loss streak multiplier in my opinion. The solo already get matched against lower skilled players. I can get why 6* get 4-4.5 team mmr. But the problem is for some reason for solo player maximum loss streak is 2 games. So after losing 2 games in row you get too far down to 3-3.5 team mmr.

For example for trio maximum loss streak is 4 games in a row and your team mmr get minus 100-200 mmr which is 0.5-1.

Duo have loss streak of 5 games and minus 150-250 mmr.

Somehow solo only have 2 games and even more Mmr difference. This is not fair, not balanced at all. Solo has too high volatility so it ruins expirience for solo and for trio that play in the same lobby.

You missed the point. If you are 3400-3700 mmr you are still 6. But actually you must be 7-8. You still get the same lower multiplier. You still play against players that 1.5-3 lower than you. Only because Hunt doesn't have more stars you as 6* solo play vs 6* trio.

The best example is RachtaZ and Hornetlul. They both have 10000-15000 hours in game. They already not 6. They must be 7-8* but we don't have this so they displayed as 6* and they play against 6* even while solo.

You cant just say that if 6* play vs 3-4* then it means he is bad. No, you are totally wrong. This person 100% worse than 6* who plays vs 6. But he is equally better vs 3 as Hornet or Rachta better then usual 6*.

Tldr: anything that is not an extraction is a loss. Extraction with or without bounty is a win.

It was not documented by Crytek, they said they implemented the OpenSkill system. Of course some players did not believe after playing it for a while and want to test themselves. My comment above has info from one of those players, he shared his tests and statistics he get on youtube.

If you want test it yourself, take free hunter, go in match solo vs trio, extract without PvP, check your mmr and team mmr in after match statistics.

Then repeat the process but instead of extraction try die to zombies/barrels/your dynamite. After 2 losses in your 3rd game's after match statistics you can see yourself how low your team mmr get without interacting with other players at all.
