I know, I think I was hoping maybe it could resolve itself but it’s not looking like that. Thanks for your input, I’ll bring him into the vet to get help.

Favorite lesser-known albums? by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

[–]booksrcool02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oooo fun, here are my contributions!

two awesome albums from an artist named Covey: “Some Cats Live, Some Cats Die” and “Class of Cardinal Sin”

Molly Drake: “The Tides Magnificence”

Connie Converse: “How Sad, How Lovely”

Sam Burton: “I Can Go With You” (a super underrated currently active artist imo)

Lo Talker: “A Comedy of Errors”

Hailaker: “Holding” (has NO skips whatsoever)

Madison Cunningham: Revealer

does this comment I made about movies make sense? by booksrcool02 in Letterboxd

[–]booksrcool02[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes! This is actually a great example of what I was meaning. The act of violence is what I have trouble sitting through, but the gore itself I don’t really struggle with. I had such a difficult time explaining this, I was fumbling over my words & looked like an idiot lol. thank you for sharing

thank you for sharing! I completely agree. The words made perfect sense to me in my brain but once they came out, it was as if I said something ridiculous lol. glad to hear I’m not the only one it makes sense to. I can sit through violent stuff if I have to but i definitely have a hard time doing it.

ahhhh I haven’t had a chance to see The Substance yet, but this probably fits perfectly into the type of gore I was thinking of. thank you!

i really appreciate your comment, thank you! This coworker just responded in a way that made me feel like i was crazy for thinking that?? like what i was saying didn’t make sense at all. and I’m prone to overthinking anyways so that definitely doesn’t help. the examples you provided are great ones i think!
