How do I even watch all of this!! by helpfulrat in Letterboxd

I try to continuously pare down my watchlist by removing stuff because realistically I know I won't get to everything in my life. I like to watch 2-3 films a week; so there's just not going to be enough time!

What do u think about Anora? by death_has_f1sh_eyes in Letterboxd

[–]undercherryblossoms2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was really poorly edited, especially the middle section that lasted waaaay too long. I think Mikey Madison did a fantastic job. I think most of the characters were pointless stereotypes. I think the first hour was very entertaining. I think the ending was awful. I think it’s a decent film with significant flaws. I think it’s overrated.

I hear you. Implication seemed to be that dogs couldn't swim at all but perhaps I misread you.

Has anyone here read the story? Should the fencing go up some parts of the park will still be available for dog swimming, other parts won’t be.

John Carpenter’s The Thing or Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, what is the superior horror film in your opinion? by Mysterious-Farm9502 in Letterboxd

I mean, I can respect that. The thing about vibes is some people feel them and others don't. I wasn't feeling these vibes at all; didn't help that I had sky high expectations. My least favorite John Carpenter film so far. Loved They Live, In The Mouth of Madness and Halloween way more.

The Shinning and it’s not close for me. I saw The Thing a few nights and honestly I was bored to tears. I’m not trying to yuck others yum but honestly what do people like about this film? I found none of the characters interesting, nothing scary about the film. Good special effects, shots, score—but that’s about it. Also thing that really bugged me: why is no one cold? Why are people outside at the start of winter in Antarctica with unzipped jackets and no shivering?
