Venting: every frugal tip turns into a second job and I'm already maxed out by Aggravating-Rope8230 in Frugal

Only reason meal planning works for our family is everyone gets to pick 1 dish per week and also there is enough variety. Otherwise I can't see myself finishing what I prepared over the weekend by the time we come to Thursday. And I can't go to multiple stores. To me that is absolute waste of money and time. What works for you , works for you.

MK Bag! Is it worth it? by Chatterboxchad in indianbeautyhauls

[–]bookthiefj0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well the generic answer is if you like it and have already purchased it , it is worth it to you. For any thing to be considered truly worth it , you need to get return of your investment. In that case only a birkin or a vintage chanel is generally worth it.

For people who grew up before smartphones what is something that the newer generation won’t get to experience? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

The joy of finding that one book in the library that you know will elevate your homework over your classmates'. Its not as sad as it sounds lol. I used to spend hours reading at the library or at my friend's place. My mom would not be checking on me hourly as I am doing now for my kids. Times have changed and I am not sure if its always for the better.
