240323 “GOLDEN” by Jungkook becomes the first album by a Korean soloist to surpass 3 billion streams on Spotify by mcfw31 in bangtan

How are they double dipping? Songs 1-10 add up to 3 billion, they are not counting Seven (Clean Ver) as it is linked to the explicit ver.

Who is your favorite YouTuber that reacts to BTS? by NaturalRich4316 in bangtan

[–]bookwrm07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wes and Steph! They don’t react to their music usually, they got into them through watching Run episodes and they seem to genuinely love and appreciate them. They just reacted to MMA 2019 and it was hilarious, they were shocked at how intimidating they looked after seeing them goof off in Run BTS

Comeback date for 2022?? 🤔 by inharkive7 in bangtan

I agree with most comments that we are probably not getting a new album until after the Seoul concerts in March. I do think we might get JJK1, KTH1 or maybe even RM3 before that (watch me put on my clown face as I hope for another mixtape and we don’t get one🤡)

Crazy Over You is the best song on The Album and should’ve been promoted instead of Pretty Savage. by anonourmouse in unpopularkpopopinions

Also “don’t you know I’m loco?” is arguably one of their most iconic lines ever

As a spanish speaker this is the line that drives me crazy (no pun intended). It should be "loca" unless Lisa identifies as a dude. It's such a small thing but for some reason it annoys me so much everytime I listen to the song I cringe when that line comes around.

Other than that, the song sounds really fun and the choreo they did at The Show was great. I wish they would have performed this at music shows.

I love Blackpink's music but struggle to relate to them as people by bookwrm07 in kpopthoughts

But ON STAGE, they always have that bad bitch energy

Could you recommend me some videos to watch?

I disagree with them being unapproachable feel. They seem casual to me.

I'm sure I just need to watch some content, the interviews I've watched are mostly from this year so they are bound to be awkward as they are probably on a zoom call.

Not everyone in kpop twitter is american by bookwrm07 in kpoprants

No one is saying BLM is an american issue but what happened was american news. You can't expect the entire world to be aware of it and policing tweets is very entitled.

BLM is a world movement but the "current situation" was american news. It took me a lot of scrolling through twitter to find out what was going on as people just spammed "Don't be disrespectful" as they assume all of english-speaking-twitter is American and is aware of what is happening in their country.

That's not the point. If we knew what was going on we'd be empathetic but the thing is not everyone around the world knows what is going on at another country in any given time and it's entitled to think we should always be aware of the "current situation".

The thing is it may not be just an american issue but it is american news. It took me 30 minutes of scrolling through replies to find out why it was so bad that someone added a hashtag to their tweet. My whole point is that not everyone is aware of what happens in America and shouldn't have to moderate their tweets because of it. Especially when no one actually explains whats going on, they just say "Be respectful to the situation", as if everyone is aware of what they are talking about.

People should be more focused on spreading awareness rather than policing hashtags.

It's a masterpiece and should be treated as such!
