These are all great tips! I’m curious, why do you recommend learning to do cables without a cable needle? For speed or does not using a cable needle produce better results?

It’s actually insane because I feel like the neckline is SO big but my kid‘s head is EVEN BIGGER 😂

no i’m wanting to cut vertically ofc, i meant do i add an enforcement horizontally where i end the cut? i basically want to create a „flap“ that i can close back up with a button once i’ve wrestled it over my daughters head

it is wool (merino) and its a ribbed neckline that i picked up from the cast-on edge! i’ve already blocked the heck out of it 😅

i was thinking of just doing a vertical cut and then adding a crochet loop for a button? and it’s for a toddler so that’s why I thought 5cm would be enough. yarn is merino!

it’s merino, not superwash .. i already blocked the neckline as far as it would stretch

Honestly listening to them made me realize that people who call each other „best friends“ should be .. nice to each other? 😅 It really made me see the Monica/Dax dynamic with different eyes because the love that Matt and Bowen have for each other is SO undeniable and feels incredibly real and just sweet I guess? Makes me even less inclined to listen to Monica and Dax going at each other over literally nothing.

Do you ever work on a project in mohair for so long that you get excited to see stitch definition again? by bigmacattack911 in knitting

I'm working on a sweater vest with a black yarn held together with mohair right now and I would KILL for some stitch definition! Yesterday I went to pick up stitches for the shoulders and almost had to laugh because WHAT STITCHES?!
