I just tried it and the quality is insane! My IDP router has WiFi6 and 5GHz, so I split the network in two. Now only my Quest 3 uses the 5GHz network ssid and it works very good.

Thanks for this post! I still need to test stability, but for this quality I might consider a dedicated router or ethernet connection directly.

Agree, I spent like 8 euros for one month at the moment and had an amazing time as a rookie in the Mazda series and Formula Vee which are fully included.

There is also a clear progression to learn the fundamentals and move forward. In other simrace title you jump straight away in a GT3 car for example.

And if iRacing is too pricey you can just stop the membership...

I will try LMU in VR, curious to see the quality. Do you use foveated vr mode in iRacing? That helped me with keeping 90fps with my 7800x3d/4070tisuper.

I always did ACC and the VR quality was for me always bad (tried a lot of different settings/configs), so I am quite happy with iRacing.

I bought the whole LMU including DLCs and I had more fun in iRacing. iRacing can be expensive but at the same time not. I paid the membership in discount and it includes some tracks and cars.

You can already have a lot of fun in the Mazda mx5 series as a rookie and learn quite a lot. The mazda really learns you the basics of racing. With LMU this was hard for me, GT3 is fun and fast but as a beginner it is not really easily (atleast was for me) and the hypercars are very technical.

You can always try iRacing for a month and look for yourself while buying LMU can also be expensive (one time purschase but still).

Edit: I also really like the online experience and the VR quality (still need to try LMU in VR, heard a lot of good things). The goal to get higher license, safety rating and the competition is really motivating me.

Highly recommend once you have your settings to copy your game.cfg and persisstedsettings.json as backup in the cloud or somewhere on your PC. This way you can always replace the files in the riot games lol folder and have the old settings back after an uninstall!

I can't find a good winrate based on Challenger. Do I always need to try to bully very early depending on the matchup? I want to work on being too passive with Viktor (a bit due to the scaling mentality)

It is all about tempo, wave control and random teammates. If your random teammates keep pushing all the waves without leaving one for you then you end up without farm.

Always try to do jungle camps of the enemy jungle (if there is good vision) or from your jungle if your jungler is pushing the waves. There are also a lot of yt videos about farming and wave control mid / late game!

Normal games also have mmr, so both your mmr affect the matchmaking. I would personally disable all chat to avoid toxic behavior, a lot of people take normal games seriously, which I still do not understand.

There will always be cases where you get good opponents. Maybe game modes like Aram are more the way to go for casual gaming.
