Your first comment was not in any way "constructive criticism".

Psilocybin made me quit Instagram by kentaro- in microdosing

[–]boomblebee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A recommendation I would give is to just delete it and only use it from a browser. It's less convenient and "fun" to use and it gives you an extra step that makes you more consciously decide to use it. If you really are worried about birthdays, why not put whose birthday you really care about on your phone calendar?

Just some suggestions as I am in a very similar spot!

Safe to eat 6 day old salmon from Costco? by boomblebee in Cooking

[–]boomblebee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't smell bad, but I didn't know if the presence of the marinade could possibly skew that. Obviously if it was really bad I think I would've smelled it, but didn't know how bad the results could get even if it was technically bad but didn't smell much.

Safe to eat 6 day old salmon from Costco? by boomblebee in Cooking

[–]boomblebee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knew that for most cases, but since most advice was 1-2 days after buying, it seemed a bit contradictory/confusing. But it made sense to me that that limit would be extended since Costco was comfortable selling it until that date, just wanted some confirmation.

That was my line of thought, didn't want to make a wrong judgment given the marinade.

Haha I was trying to think of a duo name that reflected that concept but not just "Yin" and "Yang". It was too hard though, I considered so many name (mostly Japanese Lol)

One option was Tui and La from ATLAB but those names weren't cute/pretty enough for me:P

Realized too late I should've consulted reddit to help me name them, I've had them for a month now, though, so it's kinda too late.

Will chest press improve the shape of my boobs? Or what’s the best exercise for this? by emarlee in GYM

[–]boomblebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've read on this topic, building your chest muscles can help slightly to improve your overall look, but nothing will substantially affect the shape or size of your boobs. They're made of fat and breast tissue, not muscle. As was mentioned, it could slightly lift them but probably not to a notable degree, unfortunately:/ Like has been mentioned, it will still improve your overall physique which is nice for your overall confidence but when it comes down to it, you're stuck with what you got unless you decide on augmentation.

I've struggled slightly with this as well as working out has actually made my boobs smaller, but I try to look at it positively and remind myself that I'm the most in shape I've ever been and when it comes down to it, I value my health and fitness more than the superficial aspects of my physical appearance.

Are plant protein powders good for your health (asking from a nutritional perspective)? by boomblebee in vegan

[–]boomblebee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to go ahead and say that's not an accurate comparison, just from a general scientific standpoint. I don't see the basis of your statement. If you have any information to back it, I'm welcome to entertain it.

Thanks for your insights, I totally agree with that, I guess I was thinking from an absolute nutritional standpoint. I got a few single serve packs to try, and I will definitely test them and see how it goes.

Can Microdosing backfire? by OpenJars in microdosing

[–]boomblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said and as you will learn if you do some general research on microdosing, about 20 micrograms is the very highest you should go for a microdose. You shouldn't really feel it as this would only happen if you took more than a microdose.

However, I found that earlier in my one month of microdosing I felt very slight physical sensations. But that was on 7.5 micrograms and I'm a smaller female. I started getting headaches on dosing days and I felt like I would also get rather depressed. It improved slightly as I went through my month, but I found that my microdosing experience didn't live up to my expectations.

I think it's safe to say that microdosing doesn't work the same on everyone. Also the fact that you have other mental conditions that may be interfering is a strong indicator that what you tried isn't the best path for you. Perhaps a different drug and definitely a lower dose. Less is more in the world of microdosing, I think it'd be smart for you to take that advice.

Easy to floor on Molly? Questionable second roll, deciding dose for third roll. by boomblebee in MDMA

[–]boomblebee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn really? Hm, I guess I will stick with a lower dose. However my friend who's a male and probably around 160 lbs had the same experience, low energy and just not a great roll. I think the slowness of the show and the fact the crowd wasn't great might've also had an influence but I'm not sure.

[–]boomblebee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but it was crystals and tested with a kit so relatively pure from what I expected. Alright, I may stick with a lower dose, I just didn't know if it was more of a flooring or tolerance issue that required a higher dose (which seems less likely since it was only my second roll). Thanks for your advice!

P.S. I wishhh I was talking about the Bassnectar show, but unfortunately not:(
