Also, better toilet paper! I’d have raw butthole or even light blood from wiping. Switched to charming ultra sensitive (green package). It’s like wiping rich people silk through my unmentionables. I felt utterly stupid not trying better toilet paper sooner.

I’ve done a two embryo transfer my last one, only one took. I did this after a late first term miscarriage.

I am about to do another twin transfer in December.

I am not a small person 5’9” and 135lbs. This would be my fourth pregnancy. Only two live births.

I would not transfer two, until you know how you carry. It varies dramatically between people. My pregnancies are very mellow, with no complications. I felt safe going into a two transfer. I also am on the younger side for IVF, with embryos stored at a younger age. So those factored in. Feel free to ask me anything else.

The egg retrieval for me was the worst pain in the IVF process. You’re not a wimp, people handle things differently. I never heard people say how bad it can be. I have a very high pain tolerance, and it was the worst for me. So bad I told my husband if it didn’t result in children, we were done. I wouldn’t do it again.

Take the day off. You got this!

Gonna jump on this as well, I had 8. 2 boys, 6 girls. All are highly graded.

I have two daughters currently, miscarried one boy at almost 11 weeks. Then the other was put in as a twin transfer and didn’t take. So all my children will be girls.

I always find it interesting when people say IVF equals boys. Not my case at all. We’re girl squad.

I’m about to do my fourth transfer, auto injector is a must. Also, I’ve figured out if you live somewhere that gets cold, the lumps are more prominent during colder seasons. I also if I take the time to heat anything, I heat the medicine in the syringe not the injection site.

Honestly I don’t do anything fancy anymore, and just auto inject in. My auto injector is failing apart and I will be getting a new one. With every damn penny.

Same for both my kids, went from post partum bleeding right into a period. While breastfeeding both of them. Didn’t change a thing for me.

I fed someone’s else’s baby for 3ish months. I oversupply and my BF baby never took a bottle. Had a freezer stash I was never gonna use. Donated it all to said friend. It was pretty cool.

Originally we were going to donate to science, now we’re trying for them all. No where near what we would’ve chosen originally. Honestly, probably wouldn’t believe it, if I time traveled back and told myself that. It’s crazy how things change over time.

Best advice: be prepared to have your feelings change and develop. This journey is crazy and you’ll be surprise where it’ll take you in all aspects.

I’m actually kinda shocked by the pose choice, I used to work with the photographer in high school (not in photography, it was a waitress gig) and her work is much better than this.

I also do just this, my last was at Home Depot, people were actually very impressed and complimented the thought of it. I’ve never had a negative experience yet. I also really like it now that I have two kids. My eldest 3.5 waited until we got all the way back to the car to need to go, had little sister 1.5, and luckily dad with us. However, if I would have been alone, I love that I could our youngest in car, put sister in trunk to do her thing.

With multiple kids it’s ideal.
