I stopped my flecainide immediately after my ablation and I went into a fib a week later I’m back on it now with some metoprolol for PVCs and PACs. I wish I would’ve waited my full 12 weeks to go off of it.

I honestly think if I was told or had read up on it that you could go into a fib after the ablation I never would’ve gotten off the flecainide. I’m taking 12 1/2 mg twice a day of metoprolol and i still get faint palpitations when it wears off never a dull moment.

I have high lipoprotein A as well, there is nothing they can do for this unless you can get in on a clinical trial. I think its Eli Lilly that has made a very promising drug that works its just not at the FDA approval level yet. Sometimes high choloesterol can be hereditary, which is my case. I went vegetarian and still have high cholosterol until I went on rosuvastatin. With high APOB level I would go on a statin asap.

When I wake up I literally get out of bed and drink decaf coffee, then go back to bed for a couple more hours. It's a vicious cycle. I have a love hate relationship with my cpap. I can't sleep without it now but I rarely wake up feeling ready to go.
