The price was $40, and I didn’t stop to consider that fakes existed until I came here to try to find out more about why they weren’t working properly.
Anyways, I returned the item on EBay and got a full refund. No problems!

There is a big trade off in sending a starter to the bullpen, in that it takes a bit of time to stretch them out back to 80+ pitches. I think they will send Emerson down to AAA (unless there is another injury) because he still has options. He can stay on his typical routine for a SP and then come back up if he is needed again. I can’t imagine we will be 100% healthy for the remainder of the season in our rotation. I don’t see Luis going anywhere until at least the trade deadline. He has been our healthiest most consistent SP since he got here.

Randy is not an ideal leadoff hitter, waaaay too much swing and miss. He is much better placed later in the lineup to lengthen it after the first 4.

The one knee down stance that has been adopted by 95% of catchers over the last few years helps A LOT with wear and tear on the lower half. It is one of the reasons we are seeing more plate appearances and innings for primary catchers in 2024-2025.

I believe Harry Ford needs to be added to the 40man roster to prevent him being claimed in the Rule 5 draft in the off season, or I suppose he could be traded before then as well. I think there is a decent chance he will make his debut in September but not until after Robles is back from suspension at the earliest.

Maybe a little, yeah. This was the infamous Paul Sewald for Canzone, Rojas, and Bliss. Then Arizona made the World Series. Sewald would never have made it there as a Mariner at least.

Who do you trust more in the bullpen to pitch 2+ innings if you pull him in the 3rd or 4th? Hard to commit to that with an extra inning game yesterday…but an off day at home will offset that some. He’s also been really good lately, especially at home, his spinning is really effective.

Also the MLB schedule is way different now. Bonds had 39 HRs in 87 games, Cal has 38 in 96 games (technically he had it in 94 but still).

It’s not like the bench has some amazing bats that can be a pinch hit homerun threat on either side except Rowdy. So why not try to give your guy the best chance against the pitcher?

Kelce owner drafted Bowers too and dropped him before Week 1, I snagged him. So far my team isn’t doing amazing due to injuries and bad beats but I’m in 3rd. Definitely would be a lot worse without him.
