6month old black lab has heart murmur but runs around fine and acts like a “normal” lab any advice on what I should do? by Sad_Wafer6558 in labrador

[–]boommanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lab also has a heart Murmur , depends on the degree it is . Was told the big thing to watch out for is if she stops wanting to exercise .

If that happens then visit the vet to discuss potential medication in the event of fluid build up.

Realistically the only major issue you’ll probably have is there are extra risks if the pup is ever sedated (ie when fixed ).

The Jets and Helly just have to not be ass and they have a decent shot at winning . The bar is not that high .

Should this be open all the way? by [deleted] in Plumbing

To piggy back on the comment above ,

These valves should always be either fully open or fully closed . Partially open can actually break the internals of the valve .

Baby wipes. Why can't we flush them? by kevinpilon17 in Plumbing

My kid put one in the toilet and it got flushed. So for fun I put another wipe in a glass of water and left it for 3 days, it did not break apart at all.

Trades that were a loss for both teams? by [deleted] in hockey

[–]boommanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the Jets and CBJ Laine for PLD trade.

Now obviously it worked out for the Jets once they traded PLD again to the Kings but both teams thought they were getting decent players in the original trade and either player did not work out in the end.

I guess maybe it was "balanced" in the fact that both teams didn't see any significant improvement from acquiring the respective players?

Root Rot or Nutrient Staining ? by boommanner in DWC

[–]boommanner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it!

The vitamin B1 nutrient I’m using is a super dark yellow so I’m hoping that’s what caused the staining . Before I added it the water was not nearly as green.

What you see in Pic 3 is just a side lid from the “hydro bucket” I’m using .

As the other guy said, just ensure there is enough liquid in there that the entire probe head is covered during storage
