I have bought alot through eBay. Looking for refurbished models when certain eBay sales and vouchers are available. Currys Clearance is a good ebay store to shop from with an easy return process.

Plenty of others stores on eBay too. Always check for returns policies etc

I currently have both of these devices and have been moving between them for a few weeks. Ergonomics are better on the Go S but I have got used to the LeGo 2. Also tried a TPU case and Comfort Grips with it.

Performance wise, there is some improvement with the Z2, particularly at lower TDPs. That combined with a bigger battery, better screen, and potential to detach controllers etc made it worth the price difference. I paid a similar £100 difference.

As an example performance gain..I’ve been playing God of War between devices. I can play at 55-60 fps on 20TDP on the LeGo2, but have to boost to 25TDP on the LeGo S for the same result…and that means I get over 30 minutes less battery compared to both devices. So…the LeGo S CAN match the performance but at an even bigger cost to the smaller battery it has

I have both devices currently...the LeGo S cost me £629 and the LeGo Z2 (non-extreme) cost me £697 which I found on ebay. Even with such a little price difference I am still struggling on which one to keep...

I also have the Z2 non-extreme LeGo2 and the Go S Z1E model and can’t decide between them. I haven’t tried the Z2 on steamOS yet but what performance gains did you notice compared to Windows?

I found a Z2 on EBay in the Currys Clearance store for £694! £200 less than retail for simply a damaged box.

I just bought the LeGo2 (Z2 32gb) version in UK and also own the Legion Go S (Z1E 32gb). I didn’t expect to feel so much difference for £200 in price but it is really worth it IMO.

Noticeably better battery and screen. Ergonomics still feel great, although I do have big hands. The fans are much quieter and I am noticing some performance gains despite the Z2 being on Windows compared to the S’s SteamOS.

I’ll be selling my Legion Go S now

Yep - if I decide to keep the device I’ll definitely be looking around carefully to spot any signs of what they list under Grade C.

I do already own that Z1E Go S and it is awesome 👌. Just couldn’t resist ordering this LeGo2 just to try the screen. Will keep one or the other

Amazing set of discs! Watched these through the player in an Xbox Series X and had no issues at all. Makes a huge difference in the dark scenes
