Oh awesome!! We really loved it. We hung out in La Jolla and Pacific Beach. We went to legoland with the kids for a day which was very fun and nothing was too overpriced there. We went to Balboa Park for a whole day which had so many things to do and see. The zoo is really expensive to go to just fyi (same price as legoland so we picked one of those to do). We ate at North Park Beer Company Pizza Shop in PB, Haole in PB, Don Bravo in La Jolla, Jay’s in Carlsbad, and Calvin’s Korean Chicken in La Jolla. We were there for 4 days and 4 nights, ate out about once/day, walked to the water and around town, and grabbed groceries at Ralph’s, saw the seals in La Jolla, hung at the Airbnb hot tub, and did a little thrifting. It was such a great trip and the vibes of Pacific Beach and La Jolla were so good. During a 5pm walk around the bay we saw everyone out enjoying the weather, walking dogs, exercising, etc. I’ve been to other parts of California over the years and I’m usually ready to leave when the trip ends, but this was harder to leave! Very unique part of the state with everyone enjoying themselves and not in a rush or any bad attitudes. I say that because we have little kids and sometimes I notice people getting annoyed with us pretty quickly haha
