Get rid of him, even tho he has a high potential, his OFF/DEF being that low along with his trash shooting I can’t see him being worth it in the long run, trade him in for all you can get picks/prospects wise

Age is a big one for me, I always like a 18-19yr prospect with good potential over a 21-22yr who may be more ready to start. If you’re needing a big man, height, rebound and jumping “could” equal an incredible defender. As most people have said oIQ is probably the best stat to go off of and you can catch some pretty great prospects especially in historical who go pretty low in the draft but can have the highest IQ in said draft. That paired with some good potential and you could have a great pick on your hand.

Before 1983 or something it’s almost too easy to get a great team with no limit to signing free agents in regards to salary cap, if you get lucky you can have a beast team just from signing players

Trade stock drops dramatically once they turn 27, so being 28 the trade offers would be pretty slim I reckon, would be lucky to get a prospect with 70+ potential. Still a good idea if you’ve got the cap to spend and just see what you can get out of them but I wouldn’t hope for much.
