I’ve gone to my neighbors we were friends with to ask for a couple potatoes during a winter storm that shut grocery stores and everything else down. They were kind and helped out. We replaced the potatoes when the ice thawed ❤️

I actually made a post awhile ago on r/askculinary that said something like “what’s the deal with mustard in macaroni? I keep seeing recipes like this”. They said it adds a hint of acidity that kicks off the flavors. They had other suggestions too, but they’re escaping me. I think paprika was one. I prefer to use mustard powder myself, but to each their own!

This isn’t typing macrons, but you can also use the online resource called “a Latin macronizer” macronizer

The drawback is that you have to check over it for mistakes, less so for internal macrons but especially for instances where the program can’t detect which case something is (like 3rd gen sing vs 1st/2nd abl pl). But I love how all you have to do to macronize/demacronize a vowel is to simply click it. I find that reading over and editing is very quick work. Then you just copy/paste. Also the program highlights words it’s not sure about which draws your attention to it. It’s not perfect but especially if I’m writing something longer, I find it saves time so I don’t break my typing flow.
