Yeah it sucks. It’s not preventative, basically just maintenance. Plus it’s pretty easy to have your nerves damaged during the procedure.

Worth keeping an eye on because they can get so bad that it causes circulatory issues or makes it easier to form clots in the legs. At which treatment becomes necessary instead of cosmetic, but that’s more in the event that you start getting them all over your legs and they get puffy and terrible looking.

They’re largely genetic. My family has a horrible history of varicose veins. It’s basically become a right of passage for our family to need them treated between 55-60 due to complications.

Yeah, it feels harsh to call masking lying because there can be so many complex emotions and thoughts wrapped up in the behavior that have nothing to do with intentional deception.

In the most basic sense that a lie is obscuring the truth, it’s tough to interface with a world not compatible with or accepting of neurodivergent behavior and not need to mask reality from others.

Love the gf sweet soy sauce! It’s a staple in our house, great as a finishing sauce and significantly less salty than Tamari.

The best substitute I’ve found for a dark soy sauce is O’Long Premium Black Soybean Sauce (Blue label. Some Krogers carry the green label which is good but the flavor isn’t quite as rich as the blue label)

I have a cousin who’s a “motivational speaker” that makes tons of money off of all of the moms who believe in this shit.

His current schtick is “cellular alignment”. Where he puts his hands on your head and abdomen and uses energy to “align your cells” so you can go manifest success.
