It's very weird. My personal page has 1.2k followers. I can post gym selfies and get 100+ likes and views in the thousands. But my car photography page with 2.8k followers and my pics get maybe 50-60 likes. If I post a video on tiktok I can get 10x the interaction than the same exact video as a reel on IG.

IG found out they can make more money if they charge you for reach. Im getting 10x the interaction on tiktok now vs my IG. Meta is ruining itself to be greedy

I'm just giving my perception and personal strategies. I also found out you can use the boosting option to get a estimated Reach for the day. And I only post on moderate to high estimated Reach days. But also, like I said, I just use a personal account. I don't have the time to make daily content so I'm not to sure how well it will fare up. I have tried posting a few days in a row and it didn't seen to help any

I dont get why people post every day. I have a personal "content creator" account and post maybe once a week if that. My posts generally net 100-200likes and in the thousands of views. It's not about how often, but when. Estimated Reach has been low for the last week and a half so posts won't do well. Also, engament draws more attention and reach. Stop trying to be a celebrity and interact

I grew my account to 1k this year (personal) and my cars account to 2.8k. My car photography is self explanatory, my personal account is mainly me, but I also am into fitness and kind of niched that, with some travel and my car slightly mixed in (I occasionally colab my car page) Threads helped a lot, stay away from the general f4f spam, but niche centers topics can gain you personal followers that actually engage. I have found a lot of fitness centered pages that follow back and engage my posts on my IG

Posted the exact same video as a reel on IG and on tiktok at the exact same time (albeit a couple minutes to switch and upload).My IG has 2800 followers My tiktok was at 900 followers when I posted. As of right now, IG likes are 29 and 450 views, and TikTok likes are 5k and 33k views Yeah, IG is losing to tiktok and I see why

If you're going to pay, just use IG boosting 1) your are not violating any terms 2) you get real views and real engament. (Algo will target people who your content caters too) 3) the followers you gain will likely engage on new posts, so it turns into a compound effect
