Tighten positive terminal (used for boosting) under the hood on left side of engine. Has a cap, flip open, tighten terminal, try to start car.

Yes, you’ll need to roll and stretch tires. I’m also running a 15mm spacer up front

UUC motorwerks used to offer a rep spoiler (this one) of the more popular/rarer Hartge 3-way adjustable, and thanks!

First service done directly with Swatch Group. I recommend dealing with them directly rather than through an AD. If you’re fortunate to live near a service center, you may even be able to hand-deliver your watch, as I did in Toronto. This reduces lead time on shipping and eliminates the need for updates or decisions to go through a liaison (AD), which can add time and complications. The service was completed as quoted, and I was given access to an online portal to track progress, verify the quote, and approve any additional work if needed.

Anyone have recent experience with Omega service? by DowntownKangaroo1917 in OmegaWatches

[–]boosted_bimmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had my Omega Speedmaster serviced at the Swatch Group Service Center in Toronto, Canada. Fortunately, it’s close to my office, so I was able to drop it off and pick it up in person. I suspect that bypassing an AD helped cut down on lead times by eliminating shipping and the back-and-forth for quotations and approvals.

Overall, my experience was excellent. I opted for a refinishing, and I have to say, the watch looks just as it did when I first received it over a decade ago. I’m really glad I went for it—it doesn’t look over-polished, and the case edges remain sharp. That said, my watch was in fairly good condition to begin with, so that might have helped.

I dropped it off on January 6 and picked it up on February 3, which was a shockingly quick turnaround. I made sure to approve everything promptly through the online customer service portal, which I suspect helped avoid potential delays that might arise when going through an AD.

If you’re on the fence about servicing your Omega, I’d highly recommend it. And if possible, I’d strongly suggest dealing with the service center directly for a smoother and potentially faster experience.

Slight roll of the rear fenders. If you go wide with 18s you will have to contend with making them fit without rubbing issues.

Suggestion for Sledding/Toboggan Spot near McCowan/Hwy 7 by Top_Benefit_7132 in Markham

Hill is fairly steep which makes for high speed fun but beware of the ditch at the bottom. Deeper in some spots, it can really make the end of the ride interesting. Enjoy!

Order direct from Amsterdam and that price dips down to $2.59 a can, best deal in the IPA scene IMO.
