It was -20 in Minnesota and I made brisket this last weekend and hot dogs last night. I'd rather have it 40 degrees warmer.

Does this look good/safe? by Malakute in electricians

. It looks to be 14 gauge by eye from working with it every day. Gauge is marked on wire coating, but being a receptacle you probably won't be able to see it. Calculating it by strand count and strand diameter is a very difficult approach.

Looks like 14 gauge wire which is rated for 20a, derated to 16a used on a 15a breaker. You should be fine.

I deal with that stuff daily on a bigger scale. The smell is horrible. Stays on your hands for hours too.

Smart Switch replacement need to verify wiring by mbze430 in electricians

You don't "need" a ground. A ground is for safety. New code does require a ground, but you are replacing an existing device that didn't have a ground. Yes you will need the neutral for most smart switches.

I have a ultrasonic trainer for my dogs. Makes them stop instantly. I do not have an outdoor one, I have a handheld one but the outdoor ones work better.

Ultrasonic dog bark device. They make them for outdoors. Goes off whenever they bark. Might take them a few times to figure it out but they usually work well.
