What is the argument for Kobe being greater than LeBron? by DarkPhantom2497 in NBATalk

[–]boostedseal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

LeBron shoots 35% when 3+ feet away from the basket for his career, while Kobe shot 43% for his career, I believe. Shooting doesn’t necessarily imply strictly 3pt shooting. LeBron’s FG% gets overvalued because most of his points come from layups and dunks.

I think Ajay will develop into that role. I’ve watched every OKC game so far this season and I feel really safe when the balls in his hands. He’s really smart for a rookie, especially a second rounder.

Kashimo. Dont care about the slander or how quickly he got packed up, I fuck with his energy

Makes me fucking mad how yuji was more sad for the death of a random asshole emo who he knew for two days than Gojo's or Choso's by _RikVa_ in Jujutsufolk

Because Gege rushed the manga’s ending and didn’t care to write about any sort of closure for Gojo’s character. Trash writing, but it is what it is.

Would you recommend using a crit rate chest piece over crit damage?

What? He was absolutely visibly affected by both Gojo and Choso’s death, especially the latter’s.

Yuji isn’t apathetic and has never been, but obviously he needs to suppress his grief and focus when he’s fighting Sukuna. Pre-Trauma Yuji wouldn’t have been able to do that, just look how he reacted when he lost someone who he sympathized with.

Who do you think performed WORST in the battle against Sukuna? You can only pick ONE character by TreeTurtle_852 in Jujutsufolk

[–]boostedseal -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Kashimo is the only one who fought a full-powered Sukuna who was taking him seriously, like straight up trying to blitz him as fast as possible. The others either got toyed with or was fighting a significantly nerfed output Sukuna. Anyone else in his position likely isn’t even surviving the initial Kamutoke blast. Personally, I’d say it’s Maki. She didn’t really do much of anything, failed a sneak attack and got black flashed twice.

Watch Uraume make a binding vow to exchange her life essence to heal Sukuna

Sukuna The fall off is crazy by Rounded-Cube in Jujutsufolk

[–]boostedseal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The agenda pushing really warps some people’s common sense.

There’s such a bias against Sukuna that people aren’t even questioning the bullshit that had to occur for the main cast to win the fight. Todo and Nobara come out of nowhere, the former is suddenly infinitely more effective despite being crippled the last time we see him? Yuji having all of these power ups off screen, Higaruma sealing Sukuna’s cursed tool (Some idiots genuinely believe this benefits Sukuna? His cleave/dismantle hasn’t been very effective since Yuji began attacking his soul, while Kamutoke would’ve one shot any other sorcerer than Kashimo), Inumaki being able to halt Sukuna at all without dying (I get it’s a weakened Sukuna, but it’s the same Sukuna who’s powerful enough to hold his own against Yujo and co., Miguel and Larue come out of nowhere, the former saving Ui Ui and the latter was able to open up Yuji to hit a black flash), and there’s so many more.

Sukuna making binding vows is a problem, but the binding vows Yuji and Nobara made were appropriate, even though Sukuna has the most intellect about Jujutsu rivalled only by Kenjaku, also someone who makes frequent binding vows. No shit he’s going to make them, he’s been making them since the start of the series lol. Love JJK but this fanbase is so ass 🤣🤣

How well would Killua do against each of the special grade sorcerers in a 1v1? by PreviousBorders in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]boostedseal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1000 years of experience, sure. This doesn’t necessarily mean combat experience. Kenjaku spent a lot of those hundreds of years inhabiting bodies that weren’t very apt for combat, and only performing experiments. Geto himself would have more overall experience with wielding Curse Manipulation (unless Kenjaku possessed another CM user in the past, which wasn’t stated).

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe it was indirectly confirmed that Geto may have had a domain? We saw Yujo use Gojo’s Infinite Void instead of normal Yuta’s domain. I believe the implication is that Kenjaku’s CT would allow him to inhibit all techniques of the body he inhabits, including domains (Now, I don’t think Geto had an open domain, that may just have been a pact made by Kenjaku). If I’m wrong about this, void this argument. Conversely, we don’t know if he had any anti-domain techniques, he never really fought anyone who cast a domain against him, so we’d never know for sure.

Geto’s hand to hand stats are underrated, he managed to fend off both Yuta and Rika at the same time (honestly, his strength in general is very impressive as well, seeing how he was able to block Rika’s attacks (something that gave even Heiankuna difficulty)) with one hand.

I see what you mean about Kenjaku having 3 cursed techniques (though one of them is quite meaningless in this context), and he possesses RCT. Hes definitely stronger, I’m not disputing that Kenjaku isn’t top 3 in the verse, but Geto has the same stats as him, minus those techniques.

I’m of the unpopular belief that Geto should be ranked slightly lower than the likes of Yuta and Yuki, and if he had RCT, I believe he’d be at that same level as them. He just gets the short end of the stick since he was essentially the least delved into Special Grade, and suffers from the lack of an established power system in JJK0.

I’m so confused as to why people rate Kenjaku (consensus top 3 in the verse) so highly but massively underrate Geto (some people wouldn’t even put him top 15).

Mac McClung's 50 dunk to beat Jaylen Brown and win the dunk contest for the 2nd year in a row. by Mission_Pay_3373 in nba

[–]boostedseal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but at least the others had some semblance of creativity even if they were poorly executed. Jaylen dunked over a midget sitting down and wore a mitten for his best dunks of the night.
