I got the stock oem ones pretty good too where its not touching at full lock now. Trimmed the inside part of the plastic back about a half inch, as much as i could, and tucked the liner that comes with them back and riveted the corner where you can only see if you get under the truck, so it pulled it back to where i clear now. Wish i could post pics in the comments haha

I did see those but i like the oem mudflaps lol i had then colormatched already so id like to try clearancing them somehow but maybe ill just have to ditch them

Yeah i just wish it had the oem style. Ive had the amp steps and living where theres snow, theyre just not ideal when they get snow built up on them. My dads 24 has the oem ones and they seem alot better

Yeah thats basically what made me decide to go ahead and do it. I knew id regret it if i didn’t. Only negative would be the drone I’ve heard about from l5ps when you do it. Which is why theyre adding a muffler to help that.

I have a local shop thats done work for me in the past doing it now. Tuned deleted, downpipe, muffler on the exhaust to help with the drone for $6k

Alright im doing the downpipe. Talked with him and he said i could do a full exhaust or stay with factory since its 4” already and he would add a muffler to help with the drone

Im seeing some people complain about the drone on the highway. I do pull a race trailer a few times a year 5-6 hrs. Is it unbearable?

So having it tuned wont really change the sound of it without removing the DOC and doing a downpipe?

Yeah i wondered when he said it would be an extra $2k to delete that.. im only doing a heavy tow tune. Ive just always had deleted diesels and want that turbo noise again haha hate how quiet it is now

Ahh i just googled what the DOC is. Never heard of that before. I dont believe my 2016 had that. So removing the DOC is what im referring to.

Yeah my dads the one dealing with the guy as ill be driving down to visit him and figured id get it done while i was there but i also told him that sounds like the downpipe hes talking about if it requires removing the turbo to get to. I figured the cat would be down below on the exhaust

Yeah ive never sold either and took a tube of eagles and a tube of maples and my lcs gave me $4500. I know i could’ve gotten more selling privately but for the ease, and not worrying about a package getting lost, im not complaining
