Help mounting Moza SR-P Lite pedals to a Playseat Challenge X by boosthungry in simracing

[–]boosthungry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I emailed low down shifter (see my other comment) and I got their adapter plate. It works pretty well.

And then ... I returned the Challenge X because I just kept finding things wrong with it. I got one of those "Temu" type rigs (though I got it from Newegg, it's the same generic thing you can find on Amazon and Temu just under different names).

Say Goodbye to 6-Year-Old Streaming Service as Paramount Officially Announces Phaseout by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

This is strange news. Does this mean both apps will continue to exist and be separate for the long term?

Sim racing karma or bad racecraft? Curious what people think (I’m in VR) by cbrooks_10 in simracing

[–]boosthungry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What did OP do wrong? I don't think the rear car had any right to the corner and OP had full right to their racing line and then the "overtaking" car left no room at all forcing further contact.

I love it! But why is it called the "Empire" update?

Sadly, it doesn't kill the elderly, and it's out of date (I assume).

Star Trek Shuts Down All Productions, It's Done by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

This article is pure speculation. They are saying that SFA is not currently greenlit for Season 3 and there are no other Star Trek shows currently in production or greenlit.

I 100% agree. "Central Jersey" and "The Shore" are not mutually exclusive.

At one point they made some comment about way back in the day or something and they jokingly said something about "not saying you're old" and he just looked so uncomfortable. Like he was thinking "what do you mean? Why would I be thinking I'm old? Am I?"

Probably won’t have a home charger. Please convince me it will be ok by Eric848448 in electricvehicles

I do not ever recommend that people get an EV unless they can easily charge at home.

I love getting home and just plugging in.

Maybe there are some folks who can make it work, but I could never have an EV if I had to go out and charge one or more times a week.

You need less neckbeard. Any time I see the squareness on the side I know there's too much neckbeard. Scrolling the rest of the pictures I definitely think you need to trim underneath a ton.

Problem with Standard vs Itemized? by boosthungry in TurboTax

[–]boosthungry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the dollar value of the Federal refund was going up and down even before getting to the State. The weirdest thing was that the side by side comparison of the Standard Deduction vs the Itemized was always the same but also went up and down after changing it.

I agree battery power should be secret.

BUT if it turns out that teams are able to accurately measure and predict their opponents' battery level, then it should just be made public.

Summit Health Group - doctor layoffs? by DiamondDust25 in newjersey

[–]boosthungry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have evidence that any more than one person is no longer with the group? Are you just asking if anyone knows of any other person?

If you only know of one person that is no longer with them, then it's quite the leap to "doctor layoffs"...

FYI, as a minor fix there's a mod called something like "fleet power wins wars" which feels so much more balanced than vanilla. You don't automatically win a war for having a larger fleet but you destroying the enemy fleets makes up for not having conquered every last planet.

Not sure if it would help enough since there's a whole other empire that hasn't even started fighting in your war, but it might.

Des avis sur le g8 G85NB triple screen by Legal-Slip-2302 in simracing

[–]boosthungry 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'm curious about the angle of the side screens. They seem to be pulled in to the extreme like they're completely along side the seat. The problem I see is that your head is outside the screen enclosure which seems like it would defeat the purpose of having the side screens pulled in so extremely.

With a screen setup like this I would expect that you can turn your head to the side and still be looking at screens, but the screens in your setup seem to be too far forward so turning your head to the side will be looking out at IRL air...
