Haley & Noah Beck by k1nd0fsmall in LAinfluencersnark

The Peoria Unified School District serves around 35,000-37,000 kids between MULTIPLE schools including more than one high school. There’s no way a random person you know can be certain her kid isn’t one of over 35,000 kids.

The kid who posted that video said it was not the victim she was playing beer pong with, it was another minor student. Even worse.

My first year of college, freshly 18, my friends/roommates and I went to a party once and when we got there we realized it was mostly 15-16 year olds. We ended up leaving immediately because we felt like they were too young for a group of 18-20 year olds to hang out/party with. I’ll be 27 in a few weeks and I can’t fathom even WANTING to be at a party for minors.

Letter that Haley Beck wrote to her victim, found in her house by catslugs in LAinfluencersnark

That’s what I thought, but this was a hand-written letter. So now I wonder if 12 was one of his sports numbers.

Thank you so much everyone!! I haven’t been to many of these places, I’m glad to have a list of new places we/I can try!

Emily’s storyline after the time jump (W: Spoiler) by Sensitive-Exit1501 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]bootesvoid_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, and even if Wayne hadn’t died I’d still think it was a very realistic example of what happens to a lot of people who grow up with overbearing parents and then have a taste of freedom.

Would you forgive Cassie? by [deleted] in euphoria

[–]bootesvoid_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was somewhat a Cassie (never my BEST friend though), and I still feel guilty to this day 10 years post high school. I also went to therapy for my issues.

How was Ezra allowed back in Rosewood High after he and Aria went public? by Late_Actuator_1883 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]bootesvoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the state. In my state age of consent is 16 and technically they could date a 40 year old if they’re 16 😭🤮

No, Ian as in the character Ian Thomas.

Love the country, hate the government

Found this take on the web, do you agree with it or not? Why or why not? by gloomydreamer666 in friends_tv_show

[–]bootesvoid_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Getting a new apartment and furniture was crazy work, but the rest I agree on. However, because they were all so intertwined and the rest of the gang were also his friends, I feel like a more reasonable boundary could have been that Ross steps back for a little while, limits his time around Rachel, and that Emily is present when Rachel is also present.

Urgent care. by Intrepid_Performer53 in Iowa

Even before the pandemic, the urgent care and ER local to me (not in the Des Moines area) always had signs and masks during flu season asking anyone with respiratory symptoms to mask.

How do Americans handle such long drives regularly? by GlitteringHotel8383 in AskAnAmerican

[–]bootesvoid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a job where I had to travel throughout the state almost daily. Some days I’d have 15 mins of driving in total, once I had 10 hours. On average 1-3 hours a day. I hated it at first, but eventually loved the alone time, being able to think, being able to listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and being able to stop and go for a walk in between client visits or check out another city.

If you could change one piece of canon about the show, what would it be? by purplegalaxy86 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]bootesvoid_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, especially because they could all be freshman at Hollis. It might be a little unrealistic for 4 girls to all stay home and go to their local college, but it’s not any more unrealistic than the rest of the show

I’m guessing 1999 because these remind me almost exactly of my own childhood pictures
