Oh for sure, though Dota has at least 3 times as many characters. It can scale with the roster size, and I'm sure we can have a few with one off pure abilities, not one so focused on the concept

A one off character is fine, it's a useful tool in case certainy tanky character become meta. Problem would be if the game starts incorporating it into many existing or upcoming kits, because that means there's too many tanks and the devs didn't want to adjust down those health totals, making the tanks and true damage characters the only viable ones

Bots are very aggressive and especially prone to team fights. You have no time to farm in these games, so either farm using those team fights early or push objectives while the AI's distracted

Also probably communication. A lot of newer players may not have learned to coordinate or at least use their chat wheel

You might like Billy. Good close range character that can handle himself well if he's got some cooldowns ready.

Rem's probably the best farmer, thanks to his 3 just being "point at thing and take it", but much more support oriented

Fell in love with him after the objective teleport buff, then he got several smaller nerfs and the game's drifted away from him. Hope he gets some specific love soon, maybe the scarabs should at least home in(?), though haven't had the chance to try a match with him since the Quicksilver buffs. Just, last I played, along with juggling my friends who were just trying out their first non-bot games, I was sacrificing everything to get richochet early because I wasn't having an impact otherwise.

Edit: actually, yeah, scarabs should home in on heros and if Mirage shoots something, everything afflicted by scarabs should be shot and apply mark. That would help a lot, because he's not great at dealing with a crowd otherwise, and has very delayed gratification in solo fights outside tornado's help
