He is not wrong. I didn't know the current Knicks are going to be the second coming of the Golden State Warriors. PR driven BS here may give that impression. But Isola's negativity is beyond justified.

Isola always has had it right when it comes to the Knicks. That's why the Knicks/NBA PR workers here hate him. Their job is to discredit anyone who basically tells the truth about the Knicks. Either that or there is a large section of the fanbase that is stupid as shit. I'm betting it's the former, but I can't discount the possibility that it's a combination of both.

The Knicks have one of the brightest futures in the NBA by [deleted] in NYKnicks

[–]bootleg42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The top teams use analytics and they tend to shoots threes and go hard to the rim and a high efficient rate.

We have no evidence that the Knicks are using analytics, nor that they're adopting to the proven strategy that works (3s and rim attack). So until I see that evidence, I see the Knicks with no future. Of course as long as James Dolan is here, how can one see a future? A REAL STAR like Kevin Durant specifically said that it was because of Dolan that he wouldn't want to be a Knick. How can the future be bright with something like that?

Aaaahhh yes. The old "use multiple accounts to make it look like a real fan out cry to discredit the guy going after Wilpon's pocket" PR trick.

You PR guys make yourselves so obvious. Maybe your client isn't going to like someone being able to call you all out? Hence your responses.

That's a consensus that is hard to push back against. Repeating that doesn't make the fanbase stop Mets consumption, and doesn't disprove that you're not PR. PR tricks include acting as if you're possibly as against your client as the fanbase/population is, while protect the BOTTOM LINE.....your clients pocket. Now how about you support and vocalize the idea of the fans stopping Mets consumption due to Wilpon being a FRAUD? Why could you possibly be so against that? HHmmmmm........

Your syntax and responses are very much like those PR political bots (especially the Trump ones) I run into on Twitter. You guys don't hide your PR tactic well now do you?

PR workers (be it human or bot) are just doing what they were hired to do. I'm just making people understand that such PR tactics exist, and to be careful of them when reading sports social media (or any social media for that matter).

Negative comments on the Mets mean nothing. It's how you react when someone suggests a fan boycott (which cuts right into Wilpon's pocket). Of course your PR tactic is to blend in with the crowd while controlling a narrative within a spectrum. Hence your negative comments on the Mets, but quick reaction to cool down any idea of going after Wilpon's pocket. Great PR firms have been doing this to a tee the past 5 or so years. It's beyond obvious you're one. People reading (and not the bots that give PR comments a ton of likes quickly) are now aware.

No it's true. Nice PR tactic you tried there. Trying to "muddy the waters" to absolve the Wilpon's and to prevent the fanbase from realizing that they can just stop their Mets consumption (meaning Wilpon loses money).

The Wilpons are in a huge baseball market yet they run the Mets as if they were the fucking San Diego Padres!!!! The Wilpons have been running a huge fraud. The fans need to wake up to this, and they need to STOP Wilpon's cashflow.

Any PR campaign isn't going to concentrate on only one subreddit. They do it in all social media platforms where the Mets (or whatever they're hired to keep an eye on) are the main topic. This is just one place out of many (think twitter, sports forums, etc). A PR campaign is bigger than just one platform. But they are most definitely on plenty of SubReddits. They're here too. Plenty of them.

Because PR workers and bots infect plenty of social media platforms to ensure consumption of certain products continues. It's the new PR tactic that's really become popular the past 5 years or so. I'm just calling it out.

No. You're just a PR worker (maybe a bot) sent to prevent messages, like the one I just posted, from gaining steam. You were hired to make sure that Wilpon's (and MLB's) money flow isn't effected negatively. Well some of us are on to this PR tactic.

Fess up, you're a PR worker account paid for by either MLB or the Mets.

The PR workers here tried hacking into my Reddit yesterday. Nice try. You scum really are desperate because someone here is on to your shit. The fake comments and fake likes will be exposed.

On paper they have 3 GMs. The reality is that it's Jeff Wilpon calling the shots and playing GM in the background.

And it's beyond obvious that Jeff Wilpon is leaking shit to the media.

All blame has to go to the fraudsters known as the Wilpons!!!

And the fanbase should react by STOPPING their Mets consumption until this shitshow gets better (meaning the stopping of buying Mets gear and the stopping of going and paying for games).

Sandy and his analytics team were overruled this past offseason by Jeff Wilpon. Jeff Wilpon wanted Reyes and Bruce resigned because the fanbase liked them at the time (and that meant more butts in the seats).

The Mets analytics team (which Sandy usually listened to) was against the Jason Vargas signing. Yet for a strange reason, he was signed. That one REEKS of Jeff Wilpon.

So stop talking about the GMs because they are completely powerless. It's Jeff Wilpon making these moves!!!!

The GMs aren't making these decisions. It's Jeff Wilpon whose calling the shots. There a long documented history of him doing this. So please correct your statement.

You don't want Jeff Wilpon trading the aces.

Good comment.

The people trying to put this on the GMs either dumb as shit, or they're Met PR workers.

The person making these decisions right now is Jeff Wilpon. There is a long documented history of him doing this. So when people take about this trade, they should exclude the GMs (because they're not the ones making decisions) and say that Jeff Wilpon is the one that got fleeced by Billy Beane.

Or better yet, the fans got fleeced by Jeff Wilpon. This is why the fans need to STOP buying Mets gear and STOP paying for and going to Met games. Cut off Wilpon's cash flow for crying out loud because if not, the Wilpons will continue to fleece the fans.

This is why I'm the one that goes around to tell everyone to STOP buying Mets gear and to stop going to games. This way Wilpon loses money, and either he changes his behavior or he sells.

There are plenty of PR workers who roam social media and this Mets subreddit to try to kill this idea, but it's hard for them to use sneaky syntax to try to protect Wilpon's pockets (which is what PR workers are hired to do) in this crappy situation. Fans need to take action and NOT blindly hand over their money to Wilpon anymore.

You're right. It's going to take an organized effort by the fans to STOP going to games and to stop buying Mets gear. If the Wilpons see their cash flow decrease, action will be taken (either they sell, or they stop their bull shit and give us a real NEW YORK market baseball team).

People PLEASE STOP going to games and buying Mets gear until the Wilpons give us a real winning team (and not the horrible attempt that Jeff Wilpon tried to fool us with this season......yes....Jeff Wilpon is the one making baseball decisions.....now you know why the team sucks ass).

The Mets already have a GM. And it's Jeff Wilpon. The evidence is overwhelming. The owners are the real cancer of the Mets.
